Pirl, it is Rose's Lemons "N" Oranges....click on it as it is labeled, plus bigger will brighten up the day even more! Hope it makes it back this year. Patti

Dem - my Southold friend met her husband on the 4th of July and had that rose for many years until a storm took it out...or a plow to be correct. It is stunning.
I have the 4th too and so does Robin I believe.
Patti, that is an amazing picture of a stunning rose!! I'm almost afraid to ask...how hardy is it?
Through Google I saw many places said it was hardy zones 5 through 9.
DG says z7
But under comments one gal is z5b and has good luck.

That is a gorgeous rose, Patti! I had a 4th of July in my old garden. I have some unknown roses in the yard, can't wait to see what they are!
If my weed is a celandine poppy, I'll let it go for now. It is in an area I hadn't planned on working yet, so at least I will get some color there.
The problem is it will spread wide and far, Rosy. You might do better planting some plastic flowers instead.
love that one Patti
Celandine poppy- I didn't know the name, but what a weed it is! It comes up everywhere from early spring all through the summer. Never ever let it go to seed...you'll be so sorry!
Love the lavender color of that Allison, goes well with Ge's JI's too!
