Garden photos, combo's, brainstorming NO LIMIT ^_^ part 2

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

We had deer tracks through the snow all winter but haven't seen a rabbit in months - the fox and family must be well fed.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I like that idea.We have a fox too. I saw it in the middle of the night. Maybe thats where our bunnies have gone.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

If the fox needs Weight Watchers then that's the reason for the lack of bunnies.

South Hamilton, MA

Ran into our neighbor 2 houses away at Dr. He says that he has not seen deer tracks either & he has been around on snowshoes. The must be yarded up somewhere & can't get to food. does not bode well when plants get uncovered.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Ages ago there was a virus that wiped out the Racoon population.
May we be visited by that plague for deer.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

May just be the snow pack is too heavy near you and food is easier to somewhere else. I haven't seen one here all winter- I am not complaining! They are clearing some land a couple of miles away, started last summer and I have noticed a steady decline since.

South Hamilton, MA

Woods all around with lots of acorns. I wouldn't mind if they stayed in the woods.

Cornwall Bridge is very country! Years ago, my DH & I adopted a lab-giant schnauzer mix from a farm there.......

Nice hosta. Great color. I just ordered some more, mostly white flowering one. But that one is lovely. Patti

Hosta and Tulips taken the 3rd week in May....too far away.

Nice combo, Patti.....I wouldn't have thought tulips would do well in the shade, but yours look great! Looking to improve an area near my driveway with some hostas....maybe I can mix in a few tulips as well.......

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Nice way to hide the dying tulip leaves.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

These have done well over the years. Hosta get a tad more sun than they like and the tulips get a tad less. Compromise. Patti

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Pfg, nice pic!

Patti, I like that combo, too.

Our snowdrops are still under the snow. They are near the corner where there is still a pile. Have not seen birds near the feeder lately. they must have found other food sources.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Te past 2 days of warmer temps plus rain and 50* today ,took all the snow except where there wee big drifts. It even smells springie.
