We had deer tracks through the snow all winter but haven't seen a rabbit in months - the fox and family must be well fed.
Garden photos, combo's, brainstorming NO LIMIT ^_^ part 2
I like that idea.We have a fox too. I saw it in the middle of the night. Maybe thats where our bunnies have gone.
If the fox needs Weight Watchers then that's the reason for the lack of bunnies.
Ran into our neighbor 2 houses away at Dr. He says that he has not seen deer tracks either & he has been around on snowshoes. The must be yarded up somewhere & can't get to food. does not bode well when plants get uncovered.
Ages ago there was a virus that wiped out the Racoon population.
May we be visited by that plague for deer.
May just be the snow pack is too heavy near you and food is easier to somewhere else. I haven't seen one here all winter- I am not complaining! They are clearing some land a couple of miles away, started last summer and I have noticed a steady decline since.
Woods all around with lots of acorns. I wouldn't mind if they stayed in the woods.
Cornwall Bridge is very country! Years ago, my DH & I adopted a lab-giant schnauzer mix from a farm there.......
Nice combo, Patti.....I wouldn't have thought tulips would do well in the shade, but yours look great! Looking to improve an area near my driveway with some hostas....maybe I can mix in a few tulips as well.......
Nice way to hide the dying tulip leaves.
These have done well over the years. Hosta get a tad more sun than they like and the tulips get a tad less. Compromise. Patti
Pfg, nice pic!
Patti, I like that combo, too.
Karen
Our snowdrops are still under the snow. They are near the corner where there is still a pile. Have not seen birds near the feeder lately. they must have found other food sources.
Still nothing here.....big sigh!
Same goes, nafa
Got crocus....DH sent me photos from his iphone as I have been on the mainland and missed the first ones. I don't go back until Weds, so I am sad to have missed their debut. Patti
They will be there when you get back.
it has been a long time since i have seen anything like that!
Yep....last time was Christmas Day!
I am so jealous of your heather. I have no luck with it.
Wall-e ripped out all my heather, guess he didn't like ti
No luck with heather here either, Jo Ann.
Have no idea why mine grows....added a second, pink one, last year, & it, too, has buds!
Maybe my soil isnt chalkie enough.
I know they don't like lime....acid soil is a must......
Great combos, Karen.....Dls go with any plant....love them!
Thanks, Marilyn. Yes, they really do. So versatile!
Karen
