Thanks, Allison!
Garden Photos one per day 2011 #2
Victor, you miss bikinis and I wish being young and fit enough to wear one still. I do have a Hosta Teeny Weeny Bikini supposedly in the garden, but no picture of it either. Patti
Beautiful Pirl!
Beautiful Bill!!! Looks alot like 'Pink Champange'
That would be a nice combo, Marilyn. Your delphinium is lovely - that color is so nice in the garden.
I imagine Jo Ann painting all the walls in her room with huge floral displays to counter the weather and being without a computer. I'd go mad!
Victor - I need to find more synonyms for your glorious photos.
A little sunshine for today - one of my own hybrids:
Thanks, pirl!
Very nice DL - do you name them?
Thanks, Victor. I've only named a few - Jasper Dale (for Mike in sunny California), Mom and Me, Poochella Pink (the dahlia queen) and Pirl's Pink Eye. It would require a great deal of vodka to name 1,364 of them, Victor!
Whoa!!!
Right!
Beautiful, Jen.
Nice backlighting.
Bath's Pink is on my wishlist, Victor....Pirl, what a beauty...had no idea you hybridized DLs, & Jen, Touching is a beautiful OT!
Wow...wish I was in a greenhouse today!
Oh, Patti, that's just where I need to be! My next door neighbor has a greenhouse attached to her living room, it's heated, & she grows nothing any more....she used to just keep orchid cacti and her parakeet & cockatoo in there, but after her DH died, she just gave up on everything......Bill, I like that fothergilla a whole lot!
That is so sad.
We have a regular sized hose on a self winding reel, so it is easy and does not take so long. Plus DH is more likely to water than me, so I can't complain. There are big permanent raised beds throughout it that we water by just hanging up the hose over them to soak as needed without having to stand there. I guess it is pretty full! We mostly empty it in the summer. That is the backbreaking job. Patti
Actually I should have said that I would be "Over the Moon" if it looked liked Victor's. Patti
can't wait!!!
Nice! Looks like 2008, though. ^_^
Very cheery on this dreary day!
Robindog, that is the color I was expecting, but I just planted it this fall. Long wait to see it bloom as they are so slow when you buy the cheap little ones.
flowAjen. daffs are my favorite too. My first ones bloomed on March 21st last year. Can't wait.
luvsgrtdanes, those are a big wow. Thanks.
AYankeeCat, that shot is lovely on the gloomy and rainy day here. I adore the pattern in the brick walk. Patti
Even loved the leaves on the trees behind the sunflowers.
The clump is a seedling, hybridized by a friend in OR.
