Pretty pinwheel yellow, Jen.
Nice and dark, ge.
Venu! Beautiful - love seeing JI foliage with a JI photo!
Pixie - gorgeous daylily and a beautiful photo of it.
Marietta Polkadot:
Garden Photos one per day 2011 #2
I've looked at that one Pirl, is it a good bloomer for you? It's lovely.
Pretty Ronnie!
Very pretty, Ronnie.
Sadly, no, Pixie. It's a slow grower and not a prolific bloomer.
Ah, too bad...i've been picking ones with better bud count and lat. branching.
So glad to hear you're feeling better...just in time for Tuesday's snow.
Beauties, Allison and Marilyn.
Pixie - some with high bud counts get so crowded with blooms that they can't all open - very annoying and not photographic.
Its the Arnold Swartzenager syndrom
HeeHee!
Oh can't wait to see them again!
Beautiful DLs going on today. Patti, that beach plum is .....WOW!
venu209, Thanks. I agree about the DL's and in fact I am now going back through all my photo's of DL's to try to Id some of them with the correct names and trying to see if I need more. I do have an order in but I am getting inspired by some of the pink ones.
Robindog, that is a stunning one as is Pirl's Marietta Polkadot. Pixie always posts great ones. Patti
Wha, pretty spectacular. Are you going to plant your new Acer Eskimo Sunset with it? Patti
That's the one i want, Bill! Patti, gorgeous plum....the DL I posted is Rainbow Candy....
WOW Allison thats a nice Baptisia.
I bought it but the blooms were so grey and dull,I transplanted it to the "end zone"
The web photos were so great. Burgandy egplant color.
Mine bloomed pale grey, not even blue grey. What a disapointment. I gave it 2 years. GC plant too, bocoup bucks.
Nice coloring on that Victor, love the darker streaks in the petals.
It's one of my faves. The most prolific bloomer of any hardy hibiscus I have.
My Baptisia Praire Smoke has been a bust so far too. I do love them and keep trying various ones. A white was showing some promise last year. My best one has always been Baptisia Carolina Moonlight which is a cheery nice yellow and that has been reliable and long blooming.
Planted 2007 14.00 lg pot from Surfing Hydrangea Nursery.
A cross between B. sphaerocarpa and B. alba, forming a handsome shrubby perennial to 4’ with 18” spires of creamy yellow lupine like flowers in late spring. Long lived and drought tolerant. Zone: 4 Exposure: sun/pt shade
Pixie, another amazing DL.
Victor, I Love that Hibiscus too, not in my garden, but I do have it in the liquor cabinet. Patti
Robindog, does that photo mean you are "In the Pink" again? Hope so Patti
Thank Robing & Patti!
I bought 2 bapt. last year, the blue and a yellow one....I hope it's the one Patti has:)
I know a lot of grass that can go at your place Jen!!!...love the alabama
Started a prescrip today, so hopefully, will be better soon, & enjoying everyone's beautiful photos!
Ha ha! Just asked that on another thread, Robin! Feel better.
Ya but if I do a new garden in the backyard has to be totally Wall-e proof
Hope you feel a big difference by morning, Marilyn.
Victor - how is your son feeling today?
