Did you soak your kitty? You might want to put a plastic bag loosely over her, and give it some humidity. What a bummer that would be if it didn't sprout.

Its been 8 days since I speared the seed goo on the pet.
I have kept it in a shower cap and moved it about 2-3 feet from the window where it's warmer.
I got early sprouts. Seeds are swelling and growing white shoots.

Looks like "Yul" won't be a good name then!! Congrats!

I never thought past the seedcrust.
Maybe Albert would be better.
OR, maybe we will spent the entire time on the life of this thread making up names that fit the pet in its latest state of metamorphsis.

Oh Dear! I had that mold thing happen in one of my seed trays last year here. Ugh. Is there a funeral planned? :(

I doubt we will bury the whole thing when just a crop dies.
