Yes, it is......Baltimore Oriole....I have trouble with worms eating the leaves, but the blooms are never affected.

This is a photo from the man where my Tree Peonies came from.
He is in his late 80's and tought science .He has been hybredizing JM's and TP's for eons.
He said he is done because it takes 20 years to grow a good tree and he just doesnt have time. Thankfully his son lives next door.

I agree, JoAnn....but the good thing is our town has many growing in the parks & public building gardens, courtesy of Cricket Hill Tree Peonies, so I do get to see them......my flowering crab.......
