Love this thread. Pirl, that clematis is gorgeous and I love the rusty trellis it's climbing! Ge, your tree peony is beautiful - tree peonies are quickly rising to the top of my faves list. I love all the daffs, DLs and dahlias. Sigh. Spring seems so far off.

This is one of the crowded plantings around my stream. I love the combination of textures and colors.

Bill (also known to some as "the hunk"), does Koto Maru have red leaves in spring? I saw one, a long time ago, with green edged leaves on a red background, and loved it but it was too big for the car and we didn't have our truck at the time.
