Brug and Datura Photo Contest

As you know, we have had some changes with the Brug and Datura contest, as the previous organizer of the event egressed from DG a couple weeks ago.

Here is the plan: I am pulling the Brug and Datura Contest forum offline, and, assuming interest is still high (I know tiG and Zanymuse, at the least, will be very interested!) I will program in a special area where members can upload photos of their brugs/daturas for the contest.

The contest will not have such loosely defined rules, and we'll move it forward very quickly. The prizes (being furnished by Zanymuse) are still in effect!

So, just an FYI: Brug and Datura Contest forum is going to be pulled, and I'll be programming a special contest form for people to upload their entries.

I don't know, tiG. Many of the brug people have E-mailed me, asking me to remove their photos. I am, of course, complying with their request, but I fear the forum will be half-empty, once I individually remove all brug pictures that are requested of me. :(

I wrote you with a little idea, maybe that would work. It's your decision:)

hey dave, contest aside....the brug contest forum was a great place for info and pics.
please consider bringing it back!!!! if it being half empty is the problem, we promise to fill it up with new pics : )

Best I understand, photos are copyrighted by the owner. But, maybe someone that really wants to save the forum, could compile all the good info into one single document like the trading primer? Just a thought.

MzM: I honor removal requests that are sent directly to me.

I've gotten several E-mails about saving the data in the B&D Contest forum. I'll be doing something about it.
