my evening last night was fun.. while waiting for santa to come on the fire truck.. there were two kids running up and down making the dancing / singing snowmen Randy put on the posts by the curb.. go off with the motion sensor... was great watching them have fun... there are 3 sets and each has a motion sensor.. when one turned off they raced to see who could get there first.. made me giggle
What and when Christmas Decor pt 2
I bet that was cute!
moments like that ... make it all worth it
CONGRATULATIONS, ALLISON!!!!! I think the best thing about your awesome display is how much you enjoy doing it and seeing and hearing all the fun that the kids have from it. You put so much work into it, and you deserve all the credit you are getting!!! Well done!
Celeste - What adorable kids! It is the faces of the kids that define Christmas morning, for sure!
We had a lovely day...Hope you all did too!
Bill you can keep that present... LOL... WE DON'T WANT ONE!!!
:)
too cute though!!!
thanks Louise!!!
we took some photos at 2 homes we checked out in Wayne, NJ today... the first house is on a corner lot... had the back yard all done up as well as the front.. even the shed!!!

JoAnne, I love your birdhouse ornaments made with the cut up paintings. Are those from your own paintings?
Nice pics of all your stuff and family, everyone.
Louise, I never tip except at time of service. Then I tip according to recommended amounts. My hairdresser usually gets more than the recommended amount.
I know I said it on FB already, but again, congrats on your contest win and getting your video featured on the Tacky Lights site.
WC, I love your Dunkin' Santa! Cute!
Here's our tree. Went up at the last minute. Better late than never. I even wrapped presents last minute, all on Christmas Eve.
Karen
Oh my goodness Bill, what a lovely stocking stuffer you got!!!!
Sweet baby Bill
Karen: yes those are my paintings, not every painting is a home run .
thank you Karen... love your tree & the lights outside.. I think Randy will be wrapping some tress next year after seeing the animated one last night.. was the total highlight of that guys display
Love her little dress, sparkly tights and jewelry Robin!! Too cute!!! Thats a great picture of you!
Thanks....the Inn is such a wonderful place....yes, HayHay goes for the bling....you should have seen my 2 GDs & 2 great nieces after they got into my sister's makeup! Gawd!
nice RD!!!! such a cutie!!!
What a cutie, Robin!! Love her tights! You look lovely too, and that smile warms my heart given the challenge of your first Christmas without Doug. You're a real trooper!
Bill - I can't believe I didn't realize that your new little granddaughter in the stocking was real!!!! LOL It was only after I read on the other thread that she was just born that I went back and looked at the photo better. That is so cool! Chalk it up to contac blur after reading on the computer too much.
How cute, Bill! Looks like a Yankee fan.
Nah.....I see a Red Sox pink hat to go with that pretty little face!!!
You just ruined it for me, Louise! ^_^
her mother is a big sox fan:) thanks all
Sometimes the new generation learns from their parents' mistakes.
Har Har Har!!! And what mistakes have your little guys learned from????????????? :) Hopefully neither of them looks very good in orange!
LOL! Red Sox all the way!
Nice pics of you and your GD, Marilyn. You both look fantastic!
Karen
Thanks all.....it was just so nice having the kids around, even though Grant was a bug......there's a huge tree in the foyer of the Inn that attracted him, & an elderly couple who we think were movie stars....very familiar looking, but can't put a name to them.....anyway they had a toy poodle with them out on the sun porch, & Grant was attached to it. Bill, I have a feeling that little sweetie will be a Mets fan......and definitely a gardener! Louise, stay warm....heard the temps are going into the 20's in Central FL...glad our friends are in Texas for another few days....
Our outside Christmas lights blew a fuse so nothing is on outside.... :( Hubby said he's not climbing on the roof in the snow to fix it.
don't blame him... must tape up each plug next year like Randy does.. avoids that mess
We have taken down our tree and will disconect the outside sometime this weekend when its warm.
Its a little sad.
always!!!
do not take down the tree until after new years weekend - will do a little each day next week. i also cut up the tree inside and bag the branches instead of dragging it to the slider and leaving a huge mess to pick up.
our town collects them .Then we get frr mulch in spring.
Tree will come down tomorrow night after everyone leaves, we have New Years Day at my house (pork and sauerkraut). Outside lights won't be lit either. DH will take them down next week.
Ours stays up for Russian Christmas on the 7th
I'll take mine down Sunday - Tasmanian Christmas.
oh yeah.. well... we will be lucky to get all the decorations down outside by Easter... LOL
'11?? ^_^
