It sure sounds like were sharing in this crazy weather. It seems to be a little crazy all over. I think it was about a week ago the weather man said all fifty states had gotten some snow on the same day except one, and that was Florida...How crazy is that...Hay
Where is Rita?????
Global warming is going to freeze me to death!!
Cajun Im with ya!! I havent seen the sun for over a week....er two! This morning we are getting a little "Tease" from old Sol but it rained all night and we are going to get more today. The temperature is getting better but not enough to finish melting the snow still in the shady spots!
I am sooooo tired of the cold and damp, cold and sunshine is great! Oooooh well, My chickies are getting used to it and seem to be fine......I guess I need to pull up my "Big Girl britches" and smile!! LOL!
Rining here again this morning but it's warmer. I'll take it.
It was sunny yesterday afternoon! Wow! This morning is overcast and looks like rain/mist. We need the rain sooooo badly right now here, so I'll take it! Our county actually have a burn ban on right now! At least the sod will be soft so I can dig it up to start some new plant beds (as soon as it stop raining)! Must look on the bright side, must look on the bright side .....
Keep telling yourself that and you'll make it til Spring.
That and a shot of brandy to warm me up LOL!
I don't imbibe (sp?) so I'll have to think warm thoughts. LOL
Try hot chocolate - works wonders! We're under a burn ban too but recently we've had a lot of drizzle and it has helped the winter rye I planted which has been waiting for moisture since September.
Yes, #1 son got me this fancy hot cocoa maker for Christmas! It does make good cocoa and keeps it warm for some time.
The rye I spread in the new goat pasture is up and very green. Now I'm eyeing some clover to spread.....I have to ask at the farmer's co-op when the best time to spread would be.
Here the clover has been up for some time, but it's bur clover; I'd like to get white clover established. Let me know what you find out.
No snow here in the "Sunny" state of Florida but we are having way to much freezing weather and just had a full day of rain.
40 degrees down to 24 at night, 35 day down to 29 at night, 60 day down to 40 at night, 45 day down to ......... Up and down up and down... rain rain rain rain...... No temp pattern here just wet cold chilly and wet!! No wonder Im wearing a parka all day even at work... just cant seem to get the chill out from between my shoulder blades!
We are getting no rain or snow here in Texas. I'm becoming concerned about fires again. So, send some rain over our way.
Down in the teens here last night.
Yes, please send some rain for TX. My little neck of the woods really needs some.
It rained or snowed here most of the day.
today was like a warm spring day 70 degrees. It was awesome. Pure blue skies but more cold is on the way ugh!!!
It's snowing right now... that beautiful picture perfect kind of snow.
Lovely! - - - Better you than me.
im speaking very softly right now.......the temps got into the upper 60's yesterday......going to the 70's today!!!! yaaaaaaay! (shhhhhhhhh.....hope I didnt scare the sun away)......until tomorrow anyway!
I am just too ready for spring. I want to see green and growing things in my garden. I hate the cold and snow so I get too much cooped upin the winter. I can not even spend time on the forum as my computer is having major glitches for weeks now. Just popped in today before it freezes up on me again.
