Daily Bird Pics - Vol. #360

Stafford County, VA

I think the only reason I like him is that when he chases the smaller birds, I have a better chance of catching them in flight.

One of about five tufted titmice that have been coming for meal worms several times a day, now that the high temperatures are in the 30's.

Our Titmice, Chickadees along with some Sparrow, Finch and others have always eaten the suet.

Nice to see the Pine Warbler Hack!

Teddy, Your Downy Woodpecker looks like a juvenile with the red on the top of the head.

Handsome birds Dave!

Mrs Ed, Is that a current pic of the snow?

Burd, Good looking Red-bellied Woodpecker pair!

Great shots everyone!

Yep Pelle, that's the snow I came home to on Saturday.

Great shots everyone!! No sun for quite a while here just snow squall's and avg. temp of 30f. Did manage to get a couple shots from a few days ago. I now have a pair of crows visiting daily.

Burd, I bet that Better Beamer you're getting would have lit that crow up for you. I read some reviews on Adorama and saw a few it their reviewer's pix. I may have to ask Santa for one. But I read that you got to watch out the sun entering and messing up your new 580. But then again, the only time I see using it would be when the sun is not out, anyway., so that shouldn't be a problem.

Where are you all moving to?

Burd, congrats on your crows!! I have suspended feeding them for now. I have a huge flock of starlings that are eating all the food I put out for them & the jays. So I hope by not feeding for a few days the starlings will move on. But even then I have had to move the bowl outside the fence. The new dog really likes kitty food! Just can't win sometimes! lol

Nanny, thanks for telling me about the seed-I'll have to find some. You sure have a great assortment of wps. Sorry you're still not seeing any pine siskins.

Lily, your heron is so sweet. Do they ever come up on your deck area? They seem to love sitting on top of gazebos and docked boats here.

Teddy, your wp on the hummer feeder is adorable. I've never seen one at any of my feeders.

Hack, love that pine warbler-it is sure a beauty.

Mrs. Ed, hope your birds can find some food. Keep warm!

Burd, cute one of your crow. Glad Elvis has a girlfriend. They sure are beautiful birds.

Dave, your mocker is beautiful. That titmouse is just gorgeous!

My peanut butter/nuts log is continuing to be a popular attraction to birds.
