Yes - quite a few. Thanks.
Time to share some color in my Florida garden!
I'm picking Meyer lemons, too, Louise....unfortunately the tree is in my living room, & not in the backyard!
Well, how cool is that, Marilyn!!!! You must get lots of light in that spot! Terrific!!
I keep the plant outside all summer, & place it in a west window....seems to like it...
can see your reflection in the gazing ball Louise... would go great with the weather vane Randy bought for Michele

Cute, Allison!
Beautiful lavender, Louise, and the gazing ball is terrific....just love that pig's expression!
Thanks, Marilyn. I think the glazing balls are really cute. The flying pigs are actually piggy banks.
Clever.....didn't find any money left in there, did you?
No money! Am wondering if I need to cover up the coin slot so it won't fill with rain.
Plants are uncovered now and left to fend for themselves tonight. I'm going to a mosaic tile class tomorrow with a neighbor.
Hope the snow up there is pretty still but navigable!! :)
Pretty awful! The snowbanks are everywhere! My road is down to one lane.....have fun at the mosaics class....sounds interesting!
Be careful, Marilyn. I remember the high snowbanks where our long driveway met the highway......very dangerous because of zero visibility as to the cars that were coming. The snowplows never gave it a thought as to how high they would pile the snow.
Yes, most cars I met today had to be part way into the road in order to see.
Eek! Stay home!! Did you have to go in to sub today, Marilyn?
No, school was closed again today....Thomaston is very hilly, & the side roads were still slippery......I'm taking Pat (DH's 1st wife) to run some errands tomorrow, so I won't go in if I'm called.....hopefully, I'll work next week.
looks like a party to me Louise!!... good job!!!
Thanks, Marilyn! It will look better when it is finished, but it was fun, especially for the first time.
I love the colors, very cheery....nice job!
Picasso tray?
I like it! Looks like crab legs in the center.
Very nice! Goes well with the new urn!
oops, sorry, Allison - I responded to Marilyn in my post early on about the tray instead of to you. Thanks, guys, for the nice comments. There was a lot of time pressure to keep the "mud" from drying out since my piece was so large. I didn't have much time to deliberate about the design. I probably should have chosen a much smaller tray as a first piece. Marilyn - I had to smash up some Talavera pottery to make the "tiles", so that's why it looks a bit like the urn. I love the Talavera colors...as Celeste says, nice and bright and cheery. Jen, the little "crab legs" are glass squiggly orange pieces.
Not quite Picasso by a mile, Lucy! lol I'm looking forward to starting my next piece - maybe a bird bath top or a largish terra cotta pot.
it's all good
:)
Really like the idea of a birdbath!
I do too. I think I'm going to start with a small one. I'll take a terra cotta pot, turn it upside down (after I've added the bling to it) and then use a smallish saucer to affix to the top after I add the bling to it as well. I'm playing around with the possible design now. It may end up being a hummingbird "bath". The saucer I'm playing with now is about 8 inches in diameter. I haven't even finished the first piece and I'm zooming onto the next one. lol
Hey! the tropics have bloomed here! I have two flowers on my way cut back bougainvillea!
Spring is nearly here in MA!
Ok, so I am fatalistically optimistic.
Martha
But it's happier that way, Martha! Louise, be sure to take photos.....love to see what you've designed.....
Wheedoggie, Martha!! How exciting is that?! What color is your bloom? I just knew Spring was almost here! Post a shot if you can!!!
This one is pink. I have had a few blooms on it outside in the summer, but it has done the most blooming now {this time of year} inside.
I have to move my husband out of the way, but I will get a picture.
Martha
Louise, did you notice the bloom of the day?

Thought of you when I got zone envy. Are they poisonous to pets?
I checked my list and aster is on it, but only as causing dermatitis, nothing fatal. It isn't clear to me whether the New England Aster is included in this category that is "toxic". I don't even worry about the plants that only cause dermatitis. If I did, these girls would not be allowed out of their crates! lol I love the NE asters! Isn't the photo a pretty one!!
"zone envy".....LOL You????
It was yesterdays bloom I was referring to.....
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/208875/
Aha!! Isn't that pretty?! No, I don't see it on the list......yippee! I love that edging!
Zone envy indeed! You could have one of these in the greenhouse, you know! :)
It's a very pretty succulent....
I have no envy when it comes to N.E. Asters! LOL Yes, the coloring is beautiful on that succulent and the form is perfect!
Today in my mosaic tile class, we did the grouting on our projects. Mine just has to be sealed tomorrow after the grout dries and then it will be finished. We have also signed up for a copper art class and a silk painting class.......so much fun, especially when you go with a buddy. The classes are given at an artist's studio and she makes it fun and provides all of the supplies to choose from.
The grouted tray.......
sounds like fun Louise, nice job!
