That is so cute GP!
Don't want to see this much snow anymore, from last winter. I like snow but give me a break!
Took this pic yesterday . . .

Gary, love those raven shots!
Teddy, that snow is one reason I don't miss living in Ohio. Stay warm!
Nanny, brrr, you stay warm too. Your birds are cute.
Resin, you'd best think of moving to a warmer place too. And here I was complaining about our 30 degrees this morning!
I had some Brown-headed Cowbirds here the other day.
Hey, gang, pelle asked me if I'd start the new thread when this one get to around 135 responses..
I'm looking forward to it.

Grasmussen, that new Rebel T2i is spot on. What kind of lens were you using. Those pics are crystal clear.
Wow, teddy, here in west central Ga, that would be catastrophic.
Resin, it snows in the UK? All I thought it did was rain :-)
nanny, windchill is about 14...YUCK! Double YUCK. Nice shots, how did you control camera shake :-)
duc, nice shots, especially the Waxwing. According to my notes, I should be seeing some in Feb.

Can anyone direct me to a link where the Yellow-rumped Warbler was changed to the Myrtle's or Audubon's? Or do I have it backwards?

Resin had put that link up if memory serves me.
Teddy, Last year was really bad. I think they are calling for under average snow fall amounts in our area. Hope its the same for you. Resin, Sorry to see that.
Great pics everyone!
Duc, That Spotted Towhee pic is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Thanks all! Yeah, it's a really nasty abnormal cold spell we're having here at the moment. The weathermen are saying there's a good chance that the UK all-time record low temperature might get broken tomorrow night.

Hack, my secret for camera shake....stay inside and take photos thru the window!! lol
But actually those were taken last weekend...and it was in the 30's...but still thru the window!
Good start with the eagles, linth. We have more and more wintering in OK, but still not real common. I saw one on a local lake this week, but only from across the lake. No photo op.
duc saw several white pelicans on Lake Hefner yesterday. This lake always seems to hold some interesting wintering birds. Got a couple of lifers-- a lone first-winter California Gull and a Pacific Loon. Lots of ducks and gulls. 3 species of Mergansers, Buffleheads, Scaup, Red Heads, Cavas Back, Ruddies, Ring-necks. Had about 70 Ring-necks on one of our ponds yesterday.
Pelicans with a mix of gulls, cormorants and coots.
Nice shots guys!
Red, That is a good variety you saw.
Looked outside and saw a female Flicker eating on the feeder, also saw some Raccoon tracks in the snow. Still waiting for that Cardinal, I am determined to get a picture of him (or her). The squirrels are playing around and digging for the nuts they hid not so long ago. We are supposed to get 1-3 more inches of the white stuff Saturday.
