Pretty shots Karen. The across the bay view and that big old oak specially. Looks like you had a nice day.
New England's (and NY/NJ's!!) Fall Colors 2010 - Part 2
Great shots Karen!!
Thanks, Pat and Celeste. I did have a nice day. It was cold, though with a cold wind blowing off the bay, but nice to be outside. We hiked about 2 miles. If you do the entire loop it's 3 miles, but we didn't have time for all of it.

It's different variety we removed all our Bradfords
Yeah, I heard about the ups and downs of the Bradfords, but DW and I planted one when we first moved in. It's kinda like 'our' tree, we'll give it a chance and all it needs. - just like a child you find out has a disability, - you still care for it and nurture it regardless...
Nice pics, Jen and WC. I love the pear tree foliage in fall. I have a Bradford sapling that will get transplanted in the spring.

Pretty fall color you two. All gone around here pretty much. We have two colors now green and brown, that's about it until spring.
yes very pretty....I have brown and more brown. The only thing green is the evergreens...good thing this is the Pine Tree State. ^_^
Thanks. Not much color left here, either.

My weeping beech finally started dropping leaves today. It's always the last one.
Oh, so sad, Victor! Winter is just about here.

Yippee! That means we can take snow pics soon!

I like that positive attitude, WC!
