I made some ornaments like that too Celeste, except I didn't do the alcohol part, neat when they dry and swirl even more.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I was careful not to say 'nice balls'!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Love the look of those ornaments! Where do you find the clear glass balls?

Leave it to Cleaver??? ^_^

Thomaston, CT

I've circled a few primroses in the catalogs....I have 2, but none blooming! It's that nice ocean air that's good for them.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wasn't planning on getting and rooting cuttings yet... BUT I couldn't say no to the 1/2 price NC Farms offer ... this is how I kept busy tonight.. did 3 trays so far.. and more tomorrow

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

you got that right... that's why I had to quit

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Wow that's a lot of cuttings

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

not even a dent in what they send Jen... 100 of each... not going to do them all... some are in the trash already... I guess the down side to buying this time of the year and 1/2 price .... a bunch of them already had flowers forming on them

Ge 1836 Purrrrrrrrrrr.ty What a great painting.

I have been doing some pottery and cleaning closets. Almost none of my old cloths fit so that has been a chore. I rather be potting, but I guessed you assumed that. Off to do some more today and tomorrow as it is too cold to plant the last of the bulbs. Patti

WOW What strong throwing Patti.
Are those tumblers? planters? The glazes are really rich.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

You are too kind. 16 Tumblers and a three bowls. I love to drink tea out of a tall handle-less tumbler. This are too narrow to hold enough to suit me. So I have a dozen more wider and taller ones that I threw out of a near black clay that I will glaze tonight when I get to Boston. They are much more industrial looking, kind of Machine Age in style which I like. I just have to get the glaze to work. I am going to leave a lot of the outside unglazed and use the same Randy's Red and Shino that is on the bowls and taller tumblers on the insides and in a couple of places on the outsides. I think it will look good with a dark, flat black. But who knows? I have finished a bunch of planters for Amaryllis bulbs too which I have to pot up this week end too.

Busy trying to organize the last 555 bulbs that came from Brent and becky's sale that we need to plant when I get home on Monday and it is warmer. So off now. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

like the blue one best (hint)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Ilike both and noticed the overlaped area on the blue ones. I like the way the glaze breaks up thru the white overlap.
Thay are really very nice.

Thomaston, CT

JoAnn....just love those 2 paintings, especially China. The rescue is very lucky! Patti, I also love those pots, blue & brown....I'm not as fussy as Bill! Hint.

I got back from Boston today and was pleased with my latest batch of tumblers that I did with a black clay. I still have a few more that haven't been fired yet. I threw and trimmed another dozen pieces before I was too tired to do more. I am kind of slow still, but at least I am keeping at it. Winter sanity.

I had hoped to finish planting our bulbs today, but the weather was too wet for that so I didn't rush home this morning and went instead to do some shopping for Xmas ornaments and tree trimmings. I will have to get out in the cold tomorrow and finish up the planting, no matter. Patti
