Fall Time Change

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

I notice that the clock on Dave's Garden is on slow time already. I thought we had another week oh DST.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

We are still on daylight savings, and the DG clock looks right for me so if it's not correct for you then your time zone probably got messed up in your settings. So IN does daylight savings now? When I lived there in the mid to late 90's and in southern OH during the late 90's to early 2000's most parts of IN didn't do daylight savings. It was always very confusing so I could definitely see why they would have decided to do it!

Perhaps DG is on Central Time.

Yes most of Indiana is now on DST. I think a few counties are at least not on Eastern time.

our servers are located in the Pacific Time Zone, but each member can - and should - select their own time zone in their preferences, so the clock is always set to the accurate time for you.

Crossville, TN

....or move to Arizona where the time is always RIGHT! (unless you live on one of the Native
American reservations) LOL Jo

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Mine is set for Eastern Daylight, but the time on DG didn't change when we set our clocks back. And I get corn-fused easily, lol.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It's in your member preferences. (click on "My Info" then look for the link to "manage your preferences" and look for the time zone pulldown list.)

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

I did, and it's still on Eastern Daylight...isn't that right for northern KY?

Crossville, TN

Mine is right......Jo

If you're in the Eastern Time Zone, you should be on EST (Eastern Standard Time) now.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Terry, I was wondering about that...lol

Somehow my time preference got suddenly changed to UT4. The only thing I have done lately was install a Google Chrome browser.

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7a)

The DG clock is correct for my time zone - Mountain Standard Time.

(Zone 1)

I don't remember ever having to go into preferences to change my time back and forth from EST to DST to EST but it looks as though I'm going to have to do that because it's still showing DST time for me now.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Me neither, did it used to be automatic? But then, I don't remember lots of things, lol.

Charleston, SC(Zone 9a)

Yes, it was always automatic since I arrived in 03. Mine was set to UT something or other (whatever was correct for my area) and the time adjusted itself automatically when we went from DST to Standard Time and back again all these years. The problem began in spring of 2010 after the code was moved to the new system. When we changed to DST in spring 2010, the DG time did not change (as it had always done before). To get the time to show correctly, we had to set it to DST (Eastern DST for my area). Now that we have changed back to standard time, I had to change my DG setting again, this time to Eastern Standard Time to get it to show correctly. This does appear to be what we have to do now, but it is not the way it used to work.

Edited to fix typo: Easter to Eastern

I went to my preferences and corrected my time.
