O.K. then, No Spring for you Cat, we will keep it all here!!!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Oh Cat, I have some cool temps for ya! ;)

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

Finally got some help moving some of my semi tropicals inside the gh. The passiflora and accompanying fauna are happy.
Been cold out here down to the low 30's, and I'm bummed I couldn't get them all under cover. On the other hand the plants the b.flys like are all happy outside. : - )
I liked seeing the photo of chrysalis Roly. Now I'll know what it is if I see one. : - )
Good to know they have been making it through the cold nights and still have forage, lepfarmer. : - )
I hate the cold temps we've been having.

Though we've touched freezing a couple of times there are still lots of things flying around the (mostly flowerless) garden. Took a shot of this Reakirt's Blue (Echinargus isola) on some Crownbeard. There's also plenty of Queens, a couple of Monarchs, several Cloudless Sulphurs, Common Buckeyes, Red Admirals, Phaon Crescents and Orange Sulphurs. Going to be 70 degrees tomorrow.

That is just precious Dale, such a lovely little one.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, I still see several Queens and an occasional Monarch and sulphurs. Getting fewer and fewer as the cold moves in. I hate this time of year...so sad to see my garden turn to dead leaves and mush.

Lizella, GA(Zone 8a)

Mine are all MIA. So sad to see all the brown, but still lots of greenery for Christmas decorating.

My Cats (Gulf Frits) are making cocoons. : - )

I saw this poem on a sweatshirt (which I bought) and thought you'd enjoy it too.

"Advice from a Butterfly

Let your true colors show~
Get out of your cocoon~
Look for the sweetness in life~
Take time to smell the flowers~
Catch a breeze~
We can't all be Monarchs!

Hmmmm....haven't seen mine in bloom lately. Hope I didn't lose them.
Looking good Glenna.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Very nice Glenna, I think the first one is a painted lady and the second a skipper don't know which one.

Menifee, CA(Zone 9a)

With Sheila on this one, I haven't even looked for the pincushions, but got to say, lovely photos, Dogs_N_Petunias, of the butterflies. :- )
