Garden Bookworm Update

We received some reports during the Summer that the Garden Bookworm was a bit broken. After looking into it we found the main issue was the top 20 books that were displaying were not really the top rated on the website. Yesterday we released an upgrade to that section, which got it back on track!

This is such a great section of Dave's Garden! For newcomers and beginner gardeners it's a no nonsense look at the best gardening books as rated by the most avid gardeners. We are happy we were able to repair this special area.

The Garden Bookworm is a favorite of mine, having reviewed over 60 books over my DG years.

Upon your urging, I toured the top 20 books just now and find this unusual happening.

Your top rated book the Southern Living Garden Book ~ shows two pages of reviews.

When I clicked on the second page, this is what I find. http://davesgarden.com/products/gbw/c/20 reviews for the English Cottage Gardening: For American Gardeners, Revised Edition

Is the glitch mine? Or a snafu in the system?

I only have nineteen on the page and the bottom of the screen shows

It is in your user settings here. Within your "Manage your preferences" area is a pulldown list titled "How many results to you want to see on each page?" You can select 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100.

I had selected 40, but I changed mine temporarily to 20 and was able to replicate the problem, which I'll report to the tech team - thanks!
