Daddy on the roof watching Mama, who is peering out.
Daily Bird Pics Vol. 351
Nice Red. Love how the fall colors match their russet.
Love all the colors Red! Mama and daddy look good and you can send some of your robins this way, mine are late this year. The starlings look pretty in the grain!
Love those Bluebirds red!!
Red, I just love that first shot of your BB's! I had a pair in the bath tonight, but they never came down at the same time.
Really nice start to the thread, nanny. I never knew there was such a size difference between a Cardinal and a Chickadee.
Lovely photos, everyone. Duc, tell your neighbours that it was a cat eating the persimmons. Gorgeous Flickers.
I went looking for Rainbow Bee-eaters yesterday morning. No sign of them at this particular area yet, although they've been around the osprey nest site for a few days. There were several Carnaby's Black Cockatoos in a banksia have a quiet and relaxed feed. Some, like this one were dozing.
awww. Love those guys. Have they come to your house yet?
They occasionally drop by for a drink and a chew. They are gorgeous, aren't they?
Yah. i like them. :D
Margaret they are gorgeous birds.
Red, I love those Bluebird shot too.
Duc, such a nice job on the Flickers, you bring out their beauty.
Nanny love the look of the Warbler. I don't think, I ever had the field Sparrow in the yard yet. nice one.
Nice assortment of bird Elphaba, The shot of the Mockingbird is really nice.
Had a really big surprise this morning, a flock of Evening Grosbeak came for breakfast. I saw a female this summer, but the feeder was caged up and she couldn't get in. That when I decided to put up the other feeder,so they'd come back.
here's a female.
Margaret, Wonderful shots of the Cockatoos!
Burn, Love those Evening Grosbeaks!

Wow, evening grosbeaks and painted buntings all in one morning!

Such pretties to see first thing in the morning!!
That cockatoo kind of looks like DH when he wakes up...lol!
I just know that SOMEDAY I will see an Evening Grosbeak....I hope!
Beautiful buntings GP!
This was taken back last Thursday. I was surprised to see a Tennessee Warbler this late. But I imagine with the great weather it will get further south just fine.
You know, I saw some evening grosbeaks when I was in college. I liked birds then but was not a bird watcher. However, we had two bird watchers in the dorm, so I was alerted of the tree full of them outside the dorm. I'll have to see if I can't dig up that photo. Bunch of shadows in a tree. lol.
What are the EVENING Grosbeaks doing there in the MORNING, burn? :) The male is especially beautiful. Good news this morning. The first two Painted Buntings arrived. More pics later.
Oh GP, It must be the change in season, everything is so mixed up, even me. :)

It was nice to read your comments everyone. Thanks
GP We need colors up here, trees have hardly anymore leaves, no more blooms, everything is dying down, so it's nice to see your colorful bunting.
Nanny wish the little Warbler stay a bit longer for you. Love the Nuthatch. I have notice more Chickadees too. Must of been a good year for them.
Mrs-Ed, they do tend to come in group, it amazing to see so much, also like, when the Bohemian Waxwing comes.
GP, Love the Painted Buntings!
Thanks, Pelletory. They showed a little reluctance to come to the feeder. I'm sure one of my two new CATS had something to do with it. Someone in the neighborhood moved and abandoned two young males and they both found their way to my house.... on separate days. Sweet as can be,but not something I would go shopping for. I've protected the feeder as much as possible, with fencing all around it. Here are the brothers.
oooooo, they are so cute. I HATE when people abandon pets. shame on them.
