I don't use any tobacco so I don't know much about it. Hadn't any idea it varied so much.

wooooo hooooooooooo another inch of rain last nite and more on the way .. keep it coming
2 inches of rain today, waterwheel is crankin out some power . YAY .. hahaaa
Is your tank full yet?
my cup runneth over .. LOL
Yeah!!!!!
We got a good rain the other day too. It was a heavy storm with strong winds in front of it.
One end of the house upstairs under construction has no wall. The other end has a tarp.
The end with the tarp is the west end. I went up stairs to watch the storms blow over from the open
end of the upstairs. Suddenly we got a big gust of heavy rain and wind from the west and it blew the tarp into the upstairs
and nearly blew me down and it was so strong I immediately sat down cause I thought it was gonna blow me
out the other end that was open. Sadly it flooded the upstairs which leaked down stairs. It was clean up time
again. uggg.
I love to watch storms. I use to have a second story deck and I loved going up there and watching the storms roll in.
I will have another one of these days.
Glad you didn't get blown away!
sounds like the one that came through here .. 60+ mph winds .. lots of lightning an such .. yes storms are beautiful .. i call them God's fireworks show ..
another beautiful day of rest .. tomorrow .. back to the grindstone ... hahaa
Pray'n for rain in da Deep South .....
We got rain tonight. Hope you get some too. We are really needing lots. The creek is way too low and it's only July.
yeah mine is extreamly low also ... just need some good gully washers . hahaaa
We are getting one now!
It's so dry here that I caught a catfish yesterday with ticks on it.
The fire hydrant in front of my house was giving away free dog treats.
LOL!!!!!
LOL VORTREKER,,, good one .. hahaaaa

We had several rains last week but none this week. Had a few cloudy days that made it more pleasant to get some outdoor chores done.
had a few showers here, not even enough to settle the dust tho ..
Been raining here everyday. Got a LOT of rain yesterday. Hoping today will stay dry so DH can take the boys fishing. This is their last week with us.
well maybe it'll hold off so he can take em fishing an maybe catch lots of fish.... that's always fun .. takin kids fishing . ..
The fishing trip wasn't too successful but then we went putt putt golfing and had a good time. After that we went and rode the pony. That was great! Knock got to ride a friend's really nice racking horse and if he wants he can show the horse this weekend. He is really looking forward to that.
well anytime spent with kids doin no matter what is good quality time an time well spent
We will sure miss them when they are gone. It will feel like a morgue around here.
Dunno how it was in your neck of the woods Freedom but it rained Cats and Dogs here with a lightening storm to boot for 2 hours. It washed a ditch in my drive way and hilled up the gravel at the end. That has never happened before.
Hope you got some rain.
got almost 3 inches in the last 2 days .. it has really helped ... still need more to pull the natural water level back up to normal ..
I dunno how many inches you got early this morning, but it was thundering, lighting and raining for 5 hours. That was a lot of rain. Not to mention the wind that blew everything about. That was a good storm.
That would have caused flash floods here in these mountains.
And it would have caused great rejoicing here!
freedom-Did the Beck's okra do anything? It got too hot and dry even for okra here.

That was some fat okra. I am amazed at how long it can stay on the stalk and not be woody. Speechless.
dang good okra for sure. you can grow lots of it in a small space being the pods are .sooo big
I don't even like okra, but I'd love to try these, now that I found a recipe for dried okra pod snacks!
i can eat okra anyway you fix it except a bowl of goo . I really like it raw off the stalk and boiled whole.
I grew the Clemson Spineless Okra this year and the plants seemed kinda bare...narrow leaves. I like big leaf okra plants.
Okra - fried, with a corn meal coat - been way to long.
I like okra in gumbo or smothered down with tomatoes and shrimp. Mmm
