Still got some Ruby-thoated Hummers here.

Daily pics, vol. 347
Burd, those chickadees are such pretty birds.
Hack, lol, good ad for Chap Stick! Cute pictures of your birds. What have you got in that feeder? Looks like the birds are sure happy with it. Glad you're still seeing the hummers there.
This female House Finch looks like it's waiting for the rain gauge to fill up-we haven't had a drop since early spring.
Hack, regarding theTV's nothing dead. This is at a the Depauw Nature Park. This is prime roosting & living conditions for them in this area. We saw some in the yard of a private residence in the area just hanging out!
I had to get this little guy from yesterday ID'd. He is a immature Common Yellowthroat Warbler. Not a new bird, but have never seen an immature before!

duc, that feeder contains Black Oil Sunflower seed.

Cool, ducbucln - I've been wondering when I'll start seeing some White-crowned Sparrows. That is a really nice pic, too.
nanny_56, now that's something I haven't seen in a while, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, of either sex.
Hack
Nice shots everyone!!
Nice shots Hack! Nice capture on your Ruby-throated Hummingbird!
Duc, nice shots!! Is that an actual feeder that the Bewick's is on?
nanny, Nice shots!
This was so high up on the tree and I zoomed & cropped...but I think it is a Great Crested Flycatcher!
nanny your first shot look's like an Eastern Wood Pewee, 2nd shot is a Starling. Northern Flicker is correct for your 3rd shot.
Have a few shots to share from the backyard.
small set of the Blue Jay
Lovely shots Burd! Love seeing the interaction along with the Red-breasted Nuthatch!
Nanny, cute little warbler and that wp is beautiful. Love the pose on the two flickers.
Burd, I think this novelty dish was meant to be for water rather than food, but I just put it out to see what how the birds would react to it. Your jay photos are beautiful. Love that "interaction" shot and the nuthatch is just adorable.
A few of our crows were really upset about something in the brush below them but I wasn't about to walk through poison oak to check it out.
After not feeding for a month, I am scarce on yard birds. My sparrow population is steadily increasing, so I started a control program this week. The bluebirds haven't been around much since their second brood fledged.
We took an early morning drive to a local lake yesterday and saw a mature Bald Eagle which is unusual for this time of year. Also watched an Osprey and a Belted Kingfisher catch breakfast. Watched a couple of bucks sparring. Not an all out fight, but an 8-pointer ran off a fork-horn that he didn't want around his does. The dominant buck then reared up and placed scent on a small tree. Got some interesting pics of this and the bucks locked up.
Here is a group of turkeys we ran across.
Our Red bellied Woodpecker do vanish from the yard in late summer. I assume they are off eating the bounty of food the woods offer. They always return in the fall and there usually a battle between 2 as to who gets the the yard as their territory!
I was outside in the back yard and got a different angle on one yesterday.

Great shots duc, red and nanny!
It's so good to still see some summer shore birds this time of year. We went down the shore for a birthday party on Sunday and I saw a lot of Tree Swallows on the way down.
Here's a good one, at Avalon Seawatch (NJ) they saw a Brown Booby and a Curlew Sandpiper!

Here is a video of the Booby, shame the weather wasn't better. http://cmboviewfromthecape.blogspot.com/
Red, great photo of your turkeys. Eight points is pretty big compared to our bucks here.
Nanny, so glad you got to photograph that osprey. They are awesome. Did you get to hear it too?
Pelle, there sure are a lot of sightings at Cape May. I'd love to go just to see a Cattle Egret in person!
Julie, your grosbeak looks happy with that food.
