O.K. EVERYBODY TIME TO GET SERIOUS WE HAVE 2 WEEKS LEFT.

O.K. Everybody, the park is reserved and the fee paid, so it is ours.
The rules are no alcohol and no electric appliances.
The rental fee is $100.00. We will divide the cost among the members, the amount will depend on how many members attend. Usually less than $5.00 per member. Guests,spouses, and children do not pay.
There will be a table for name tags and signing in as you arrive and you can pay your share at that time.

DOOR PRIZES, ONE PER PERSON
Please bring a small item per person in your party, for the door prizes, it can be a book or a small garden tool, just a small item or maybe a plant, but something not gender specific, and not expensive.

O.K. guys, we need to finish filling out the menu we are low on side dishes.

I can bring a dessert.

I will bring a black bean 'dip' and some chips.

i will bring a side dish--maybe 3 bean salad since i love it so much!

I will bring sweet potato casserole for a side dish and sweet potato pie for dessert.

O.K. Everyone, so far we have 21 members and 19 guests for a total of 40 persons.
I have updated the food post and we are coming along quite well, if I have forgotten something please let me know.

I am planning to be there! Robert says he is coming with me, even though the Cowboys and the Rangers will both be playing that day. So, Josephine, please put the two of us on the list.

I'm bringing a congealed cranberry salad and a couple of loaves of bread from the bakery (or homemade, if possible).

So glad you are coming Pat!! It will be good to see you and Robert again!

Thanks, Sheila. I am looking forward to seeing you and Herman too! I've hated missing the RU's that we could not make. It seems like forever since I got to sit and visit with you and my other DG buddies. I'd like to order up a day for the 10th just like the last couple have been here, a little windy maybe, but so pleasant. See you soon!

Those of you bringing paper products, cups, plates and eating utensils, remember that we are expecting 45 to 50 people so bring enough.

Please don't forget to bring a door prize for every person in your party, something inexpensive, such as a book, doesn't have to be new, garden gloves, a garden tool, a plant, a bag of manure or compost, you get the idea, something that either a man or a woman can use.

I haven't signed up to bring anything yet. What do we still need? If we are OK with everything else, then I'll bring a dessert. You can never have too many of those! :)

We are low on main dishes, Planolinda said she would bring one but hasn't decided yet, the group is getting quite large, the food list is the third post down from the top of this thread, so check it out and see what might be needed.

we have ham and sausage so i will bring chicken

How many people are coming at this point? I know some don't end up being able to attend but if there are a lot I can bring something.

So far we have 47, but who knows, it is all listed on the second post from the top.

Just for the list, the main dish I'm bringing will be a large chicken casserole, probably chicken tortilla.
