Have you give any thoughts about selling "stuff" like GOOD QUALITY baseball caps or Tee shirts with the DG logo on it?

Palmyra, VA(Zone 7a)

Paul,

Dave ordered a bunch of coffee mugs as shown in this thread http://davesgarden.com/showthread/111940.html.

Grand Prairie, TX

or little wooden crate baskets with a DG logo decoupauged on it...to keep a collectin of seed packets in or any small gardening utensils... or DG logo's "care packages" for members to send to other memebers. gardening gloves, little decorative watering cans...etc... ideas ideas...

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

How do I get a mug?????

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

ME TOO I want one of those mugs

Zone 6, OH(Zone 6a)

He gave them out to people who contributed the most to the plant database..if I recall correctly. I assume he may sell some now :)

patience people, patience. I think once things settle down a bit with all the subscriptions,he will probably post something about merchandise. Until then, lets just wait and keep our eyes open for a post from him in the near future.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Oh but CoCo you know I have no patience. lol Maybe that's another surprise!!!! lol

I have no patience as well.......I'm not a doctor.hehe
I just thought for now we need to give Dave a break until all the subscriptions are worked out and he's busy improving this garden of ours. Just thought we all could give Dave a break for alittle while anyway. Sure he and Trish are busy with all the e-mail subscriptions and such. I'm sure he'll get to us about this when he has a chance.

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8b)

I'm glad you are all so excited about DG "stuff" :)

We do have the mugs, and shirts are in process. However, we will not be offering them for a little bit, so hang tight :)

Trish

Definitely. I'm waiting on two things right now:

Boxes (I have 150 of them ordered from the post office).

and

I'm programming up a little shopping cart dealy so the folks can get them via credit card (or by paypal, check, etc). I have to get some use out of this credit card processing capabilities I built. :)

So, when the boxes get here (another week?) we'll be ready to rock and roll!

(Rumour has it that Trish is working on embroidering the DG logo on shirts and stuff, as well. It's looking REAL nice!)

Dave

Thanks for the info Trish and Dave. I think the gardeners where getting restless......yes,me included.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Well ok I guess I will have to cool my heels for a bit.But oh boy a shirt that Trish is embroidering the DG logo on.I can wait for that! (hummmm Trish any truth to this rumor?)lol

Dave & Trish
It sounds like the line is getting longer.
I have a feeling you are going ot be swamped with requests for DG stuff.

Look out Wally World.

Silver Lake, OH(Zone 5b)

I'll be buying some stuff too. Those mugs are adorable. And I love CoCo's idea of a DG cookbook. I know I'd buy them!
And sweatshirts... how about a tool apron for us gardeners who are always putting down our trowels and forgetting where we laid them?

I could go on but out of kindness, I won't,

Love ya,
in Christ,
Janie

Janie,
You make me smile. :)

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

I was gonna do a calendar with 12 of my photos on but the cost is too prohibitive. anyone want to price desktop calendars, full color and 13 pages including the cover sheet?

CoCo- a cookbook would be fun- it could be a fund raiser for the DG Scholarship!! It doesn;t have to be anything real fancy. We all submit favorite recipes to whomever (not Dave & Trish as they have their hands full)... someone compiles them and prints them out on Publisher or what-have-you and sends the Master Copy for Dave to review... and then send them out to whomever requests them. Charge shipping and costs to make them, add $5 or whatever to be placed in the DG scholarship fund with Dave and Trish.... just a though!! It could be a great thing to have for the holidays!
