I guess the honey bees have found my hummingbird feeder. They swarm it almost all day. I have seen the hummers come in the morning before the bees are active and occasionally during the day when the bees are there. But the hummers aren't comfortable and have little stand offs with a bee or two for the right to land and have a sip.
Am I correct about these being honey bees?
Any suggestions on how to scare them off? So the hummers can feed more regularily?
Thanks,
Helen

I spray my feeders with cooking spray. It seems to keep the other critters off and the hummers land just fine.
Thanks kwanjin!
