Insect and Spider Identification: Honey Bees vs Hummingbirds, 1 by helenchild

I have seen the hummers come in the morning before the bees are active and occasionally during the day when the bees are there. But the hummers aren't comfortable and have little stand offs with a bee or two for the right to land and have a sip.
Am I correct about these being honey bees?
Any suggestions on how to scare them off? So the hummers can feed more regularily?
