Oh how wonderful all these pics are to see. Naturally all the gardens are terrific and neat as a pin. Love the sedum and sunflowers and birdhouses and great rock features. The best thing though is to see all the great looking gardeners that attended and the two lovely hosts. One day perhaps I can attend a RU but until then I am so happy to see these pics. Glad it was a great day for you all.
Fall Mass. RU photos
great shot of the red baron jm Celeste.
i need to refer to my notes on the aster - it was a hd purchase got 3 to go with the three purple domes in the same bed which are not in full bloom yet.
hope you and brian are holding up!
Sorry to hear that pixie, so young to pass. Condolences and best wishes from here for friends and family. Your pics are lovely, thanks for sharing.
lecture papers no - they were some of the lists of trees/conifers/shrubs/plants/bulbs etc... that i keep and had handy if i could not remember what something was - of course it still did not help much - even forgot the name of one of my favorite jm's ukigumo
great profile shot of me celeste - not - hitting the elyptical tonight!!
Meant to say if you open the photo of the birdhouse, Louise & Bill you can almost see all of his extremely full and simply beautiful Sweet Autumn!! I had to ask what he had under it for a trellis as it was so full you couldn't find it!!!!
Sorry to hear, Celeste. Sympathies. I'm going through this too. My friend's mom was taken off life support last night. And when I called my mom to tell her, she told me one of the neighbor's died (he was old). But worse, their 31 yr old grandson died the same day. Don't know any details yet. I remember when he was born.
Goodness Victor! When it rains it pours, doesn't it!!?? So sorry!!!
They say things happen in 3's.....im sitting here wondering what's next?
my sympathies victor!
Thanks. Yes, I'm already at 4 for the past two weeks.
Nice shots, Celeste! I like the angle of the group shot because Debilu and Sue can be seen. In my group shot, the angle has them completely behind other people. Two such pretty ladies should not be blocked!!! :) So sorry to hear about all the sadness that keeps on coming for Mike. Also sorry to hear that you are surrounded by sadness again as well, Victor! It wasn't very long ago that you had to go through another period like this one. Not fair, is it!
Thanks, Louise. It actually feels like one long, continuous period.
I'm sure it does, Victor! I'm thinking about you and sending prayers for all.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Celeste that Aster is Aster novi-beigii Marie lll.
Thanks Bill!!
Thanks Louise, can only get better right?
Sorry to hear about your friend's losses Celeste and Brian. That must have been a hard thing to carry around with you all day.
Some people have such grace!
Meredith -Thanks for the link to the article about your aunt. Very interesting. At first I thought that was close to us, because we have a similar "meet the artists" day in Matlache not far from where we are. I know now it is not the same place, but I still may have seen her artwork. We tend to watch for exhibits with nature artists work. Does she still have someone who exhibits here work in that area?
Thank you Meredith, the R.U. was a nice distraction.
Ah Louise, grace? You have no idea what that means but im laughing and will try to explain. When ever Brian bumped his knee, stubbed his toe, cut half his leg off with the chain saw, dropped the tree on his own head and my brothers, backed into the telephone pole and so on....my Mother would call him "GRACE"! LOL
so sorry for your loss Celeste & Brian... no idea what was said during that photo... don't remember him taking it.. LOL.. looking to me like going in Memory's house... and the kitty cats making me itchy
Louise I'm not sure, I don't talk to her nearly as much as I would like to. I was trying to search because I know my mom has found her paintings for sale here and there. I found this little blog about her I think she might be in ecuador! I can't keep up with her! I remember her living in France for a year or so too. I guess that's what keeps you inspired when you are an artist. Seeing new places, I know she's always been a traveler. http://blog.pro-ecuador.com/?p=545
Lol Celeste I used to get called Grace by my ballett teacher, and she was being sarcastic, so I know what you mean! : )
Now, that's funny, Celeste! But, I stand by my description....pure grace.
Victor, Celeste and Brian you're all in my prayers.
It looks like a Fantabulous time was had by all ^_^ Thanks for posting the pics and I'm so glad everyone enjoyed the chocolate. wha you look very learned with your notes. There reallytruly wasn't even ONE teensyweensy weed????
Thoughts and prayers to you and yours Pixie, Brian and Victor.
(just got back from Los Cabos. my true luv dahlianapped me)
there were no weeds - trust me - i was up at 6am for one more sweep.
how did you like Los Cabos? we went a few years back - it was nice - went fishing twice and no swordfish - although i had one hooked and it jumped off.
DNut, absolutely no weeds!!! It was like garden paradise
I shouldn't have to write this, but if you look in the dictionary under "perfection," you will see "wha's" landscape.
Some were going after fishies wha but we preferred to tee off at sunrise instead. It was luvly as low season so not so busy. It was the 200th anniversary of Independence Day so there was lots of dancing and singing and tokillya about Arriba! Arriba! (hic). I had a near miss with some blue/milky jellyfishes and kept speaking Italian instead of Spanish but what else is new?
FlowAjen LUV the new name ^_^ I spected that it would a paradise garden. Did anyone walk along the top of the great wall of wha?
My daughter did! Don't tell Bill, cuz that might be a no no. Lol ; )
Yes, Bill can be a bit fastidious! ^_^
