Bill and Cindy had a fantastic RU at their lovely home and gardens today. We had a great turnout and a beautiful day for it. Post your photos here!
Fall Mass. RU photos
Great shots, Louise - thanks! Looks like all had a great time. Hank should have brought a javelin to pick off Bill's horseshoes in mid-air!
LOL, Victor! We did have a great time!!
Omg I love the one of Jen in the grass!! I didn't see that in person. Bill's grass was nice enough to have a nap on! : ) All thepictures came out awesome!
LOVE ALL THE PHOTOS!
Yes, that meticulously kept lawn is definately nap-worthy!
Of course, the gorgeous photo of the stone wall, with the gi-normous hosta sittting on top of it, had me salivating.
Still a lot of color, sedum and those handsome sunflowers....birds have already called "dibbs" on them, no doubt.
Glad the weather cooperated.
(And chocolate!)
Louise I didn't have time to get into it at the RU but remember how I was telling you about my family in FL? IThis is an article about my Aunt that lives there. She's an artist and she did really well with her own studio for a while... it was down the road from Tin City ... not sure if you've been there. She now is living in Cosamel but I have an Uncle that still lives there. : ) Here's the article http://www.marconews.com/news/2007/jan/08/nature_painter_kicks_featured_artists_series/ I should have said lived there... but I know she still goes back frequently. :)

Victor's might be bigger, but wha's is also impressive, and rock solid.
(The social gathering, of course.)
hehe
i did not see jen in the grass either although she did say it looked good enough to sleep in :)
those pictures tell me i need to lose a 15 pds! this working for a living is a problem! victor would have been taken away in a ambulance if he showed and we raced. i wouldn't have beat him and would not have finished :)
nice pictures allison - cindy told me about the frog :)
all our pictures had a smudge on the lens ( i was not taking the pictures) so nothing to show.
thank you D-Nut for the goodies... they were great!!!!.... it was nice having you there in spirit!!!
OMG What a crowd,
What a trade,
What a place.
Bill your gardens are really great.
Soooo nice to see familiar faces.
we missed you JoAnn
Thanks Allison
I can see it was really nice. Believe me I knew it would be fun after my first RU at Louises last year.
such a great group of people... and wonderful weather!!!
I haven't been on in awhile, but saw the pictures and had to say that you all looked like you had a wonderful time. I have always admired Bill's garden.
Did everyone have great 'trades'?
I did miss Louise & Hanks cider though... that is my request for next falls RU
So glad everyone had a nice time. It's great to put names to faces!!!! Great place Bill.
Yes, JoAnn - you were very missed. On the way there, Hank asked me if you were coming. We enjoyed meeting you so much and were so touched by your lovely paintings of our place. They are a treasure!
I just realized that Kathy is not in the group shot! Where was she???? I think all of the spouses/signif. others should be in the group shot as well. We couldn't do any of this without them!!!!!
I missed Harper too....I've never been to an RU where she wasn't there. :(
great pcs. Wha- WOW for your garden.
Ha ha, Bill! I may have been hurting afterward, but I would have whupped you!
I'm too far south to host an RU! And it's bad enough having tho host the family when compelled. ^_^
Bill camera only adds 10lbs so you only really have to lose 5...LOL just kidding...I'm sure keeping up with that yard keep you in enough shape.
Victor all the Jersey girls request you have the next one at your house, perfect distance for us!!!!
Let me see if I have any different pics
