Hmm, about the same, LOL.

I know Bill got a bunch on the co-op.

Should be some pretty springs going on.

South Hamilton, MA

I have the sheepers catalog & am looking at the I. reticulata Katharine Hodgkin. We are down to one plant. touble is I have to find bulbs to = their $35 minimum there. Can't really get tulips because of the deer.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have an order for I Reticulata from Scheepers. K.Hodgkins too.
How come yours disapeared? That you are down to 1.
I thought they multiplied?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

WOW Your garden is going to be great.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

They were cheap on the co-op here so I grabed a bag or two of each.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Welcome to the obcessive club.I always say"A woman cant have too many bags of bulbs"

South Hamilton, MA

K.H. is a species cross so more tender than the usual reticulatas. Maybe she plain doesn't like us.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I can't grow Katherine at all, in fact the only one I can grow is George.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Pixie was in the Sunshine coop, I can tell, LOL.

I'm in the one on the other site.

reticulata'Harmony' does well for us

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Tulip looks fantastic.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

too many to list bunch's of allium and reticulated iris

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Oooh, pretty daffs, Jen!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I ordered from 2 co-ops, lillies, tulips, daffodils, iris, allium.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Looks like lots of pretty pics this spring. A lot of nice choices. I want to get some more daffs but haven't ordered yet. That doesn't mean I haven't been making lists and trying to whittle done the amount to a realistic number.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

So bad, so far my cart is up to $250 at Brent and Becky's and it is just because I clicked on Jen's tulip...
I'm going out now to look locally before I click check out!

Gro-Moore has a ton of bulbs Deb.

Thomaston, CT

I'm looking for white allium that blooms now....our library has a lovely grouping in front of it.....wondering if they would miss a clump!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I just got back from GroMoore and the Christmas Tree shop with 5 bags full of bulbs, so I'm not ordering from B+B's. They did have some gorgeous bulbs though.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Did you buy bulbs at both?

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Yes, tulips, daffs, and muscari.
Not sure the quality of the Christmas Tree shop, but they were cheap. And more variety than in the past.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I've gotten them from the Christmas Tree Shop before and they were fine. Cheap too.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Good for you Deb. Good thing that Christmas Tree Shop is 1/2 hr away from me

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I love it for really reasonable planters in the spring. I think their bulbs are smaller but a flower is a flower.I bought begonias there 2 years ago. Colors werent true but I got lucky.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

marilyn the white allium are mt. everest

nice pick up deb!

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Bill......when I went to the fair today, someone had won a ribbon for them!

Is there any guidance on planting different bulbs in the same bed, tulips and lilies, etc.?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I plant my tulips with DayLilies. I have narcissus with lilies.
BTW I also am unable to diig a hole deeper than about 4 or 5 inches so spring bulbs dont get very deep around here.I also planted bulbs around hostas as the early bulbs are done when the hostas are up.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

You can even layer the small ones on top of larger ones

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I thought I just read somewhere not to plant tulips and lilies together, but googling comes up with nothing. I have quite a few of both to plant, and not a lot of room.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I've never seen that, hmmmm wonder why??

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

If no one else has heard that including google, then I'm not going to worry about it, thanks!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i would dmail the bulb queen debi - bbrook is the bulb queen:)

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

good idea Bill, and I haven't seen Patti on in awhile?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Wasn't she going in for surgery?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

she went to canada to visit her mom at the family vacation house - really hoping she makes it saturday.

South Hamilton, MA

Since they bloom at different times, I can't see why they shouldn't be in the same beds.
