Marlton, NJ

Great shot of the Scrub Jays!! Their all so cute!

Sweet juvy Blue Jays Dellrose!

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Thanks Pelle!

I know this is an awful shot but I have to shoot it through the window and screen. This male Orchard Oriole has been coming everyday all summer for the grape jelly right outside my computer window. Haven't seen him for the past few days so he may have moved on. I just loved the way he spread his little legs out on the bowl!!

Very nice pictures everyone, I'm so far behind having been away for the weekend ... I'm back home-- here is to share a pic. of a Great Blue Heron sun bathing-pose last Thursday before we went to Maryland for a family reunion.

Cute birds everyone. Lily, glad you're back. Glad to hear your birds are still there.

I found these California Quail just relaxing on top of a fence as we were on our afternoon walk. They all seem pretty young and sat there long enough for me to run home for my camera.

Gorgeous 28 Margaret!

Nice catch Burd, I love it when any bird gives the H. sparrows a hard time!

Congrats on the lifer, Adel!

Melbourne, FL

I am still in awe of your magnificent parrots, Margaret. To think over there they are as commonplace as our Blue Jays is just unimaginable. Here is a Hawk that flew over a short time ago on a very dark and dreary day.

Nice shots everyone.
WOW on the parrots!
Burd, good for your nuthatch. I don't much like those stinkin' house sparrows either.
Adel, congrats.
Hack, nice variety but I think those house finches are cute.
GP, send a dark dreary day this way would you?

I didn't put out any seed today b/c I'm sick of the stinkin' doves and they are stinky -- poopin' everywhere. I have dove deterrent feeders but about 50 doves hang around to get anything that falls and to try relentlessly to get food from feeders. If anyone knows a way to feed the birds w/o attracting doves I'd love to hear it.

This is a house finch from yesterday.

Hack, cute photos of all your birds. Hey! Don't you know there isn't any such thing as an ugly bird? It's just a little homely, but sweet. lol You mentioned you had a lot of birds in the bath, but have you seen any hummers there?

Burn your finch is a sweet one and the downy and chickadee look happy with their feeders.

Adel, congratulations on your newest lifer.

Burd, great action photos on the Chickadee and HOSP.

Margaret, how wonderful it must be for you to be able to watch all those gorgeous parrots. Great captures!!

GP great job on that hawk. Hope you got a little rain out of that gray sky.

Elphaba, cute little finch!

The osprey are continuing to fly by us looking for a meal on the lake.

Elphaba, Sorry about the Dove situation. I don't like it when there is too many here either. Right now our high numbers are Blue Jays.

Thanks for the nice comment Duc. Does the Osprey stay in your area year round? Very nice flight shot.
Pelle, so nice, that you get the Flicker in your yard.
Nanny great shots of the Phoebe.I'm wondering if, it's what I saw last week on the mountain. He was a bit far, but he had the form.

Mrs. Harry Woodpecker, waiting to go to the feeder.
