Larva found with pieces of plant attached to disguise ID

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Ok, this one is going to be a tough one to ID. If I didn't see the flower stalk move when there was no wind I would have never found this. It was on my sage, its about 1/4" long and disguised itself with the dead seed pods of the plant attached to its body. When I took the pic I had to remove some so you could see the larva. It moves like an inch worm. In the pic the pro legs and mouth are what you are seeing first. This was the best I could take with my camera equipment. Ok, any guesses?

This caterpillar is a Synchlora sp. in the family Geometridae; such as the camouflaged looper, Synchlora aerata - see http://tinyurl.com/lt4s66 for examples. The adult moths are called emeralds, as most appear in varying shades of green - see http://tinyurl.com/24ar537

I can't believe you identified it that fast! I thought for sure this one would be a stumper. You must have a background in entomology, as I see you are usually the first to respond when I post something? I had to take a short class in entomology when I was working on my Master Gardener designation. It really has helped me describing/identifying insects. Thanks a bunch for the ID here is the pic with the dried plant matter attached to it.
