Morning Glory Photos from 2009 Gourd's Garden

Some of the Chocolates were grown indoors...

I just thought this would be a good way to keep these in one post.. everyone is welcome to post their photos of these beauties.. I only have last years photos right now so hopefully you all won't mind.

Chocolate Silk

This I had labeled as Rose Silk and I grew several seeds, but as you can see, they look alike.

There were about 6 pots with the same flowers, all with different labels from trades, so I think they are all the same. Another Chocolate silk label.

Rose Silk again.. This particular camera makes them look very light and I have large windows that let a lot of light in, so that is why they look that light, They are all alike, even though they were all from different sources and sold by different names or I got them in trades.

Robbie, me too, I love the chocolates, I use their pollen on several crosses.




I. nil NOID grayish blue this one was gorgeous in person.

I. purpurea NOID, I really like this one. Especially the white tube.

These were really pretty this year. Some were all white.

This thing bloomed and bloomed and bloomed, not hardly any seeds though.. one tough cookie, even with hand pollination.

This is Becky's diluted no murasaki grown indoors.

I. nil volunteer in one of my urns it survived 2008 winter

I. nil volunteer in pot got a lavendar fuji, it had to be seeds from parks that did not germinate the year before, that is the only thing I can think that could have happened, I don't normally have I. nils reseed.

I. nil "Fuji no Monet" grew this guy indoors hoping to get seeds, but NOT.. maybe this coming year it will be stabilized by one of us.
