I am sitting here refusing to bawl my eyes out. I always plan to come then something comes up. I'm going to have a catarach removed on the 5th of Oct and if the dr allows it I will be there. I'm going to rope someone into driving me. So y'all please ask God real polite to let me come this year.

Aunt_jean, please don't cry! You will be so glad you had the cataracts removed. I'll bet you'll be able to make the RU too. They heal up fairly fast.

I'm going to try to make it. I'm new--posted a few times in august. I'm not sure what I can bring yet; do have some plants that are not natives and saw one non-native posted. Do you prefer that I don't being those?
Also, if the woman in Plano (Linda, I think) still has a purple passion vine available, could I come get it? How do you email someone on the Texas list? Where are the email list or is there one?

Greenlily, to dmail a member just click on their name and it will take you to their page, then you click on dmail and go from there.
Of course you can bring non natives, you must have looked only at my list, most of the plants being traded are not native, just click on all the trade list links and you will see.
So come on in and have a good time.

Welcome Susan! I wouldn't worry about bringing anything except yourself, the admission fee ($5) and your dish. We'd love to meet you and you won't go home empty handed, I guarantee you that! LOL For most of us, it's really more about getting together, yakking and having a good time, and giving our plants away.
