Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I cant believe how dark it is at 5.

I would be happy if all the planets, sun and moon froze where they are now.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Good morning ladies. Shhhh, don't mention that the days are getting a might shorter.
A nice combo JoAnn once again. Looks like there is still lots going on out there.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

This is a nice scene I saved it for a winter desk top image.

Now THATS a butterfly bush!!!!!!!!! Awesome! ^_^
The little bird bobbing at the feeder reminds of the fake ones you could buy when we were kids.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

thanks JoAnn

Thomaston, CT

Very nice....hope my crape turns out like that...took a break from weeding yesterday, & sat in the garden area with field glasses.....the hummers were in the glads, & a beautiful blue-winged warbler landed in a hemlock.....

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

JoAnn like your desk top choices, very nice indeed.
Robin those cosmos are very pretty. Something keeps eating the tops off mine darn it.Probably the retched ground hog. He better quit it so they can bloom and set seed for next year.
Love that action packed video onewish. You have a good population of fluttering creatures and the BB is pretty nice too.
Jen I like that cute 4o'clock pinwheel designed bloom, what a nice color it is.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Great video Allison. Jen I like the look of the rubeckias with the lobelia!

Malvern, PA(Zone 6b)

Beautiful shots!!!! love the bengal bay Pixie, Ronnie's cleome and the unusual blue glad, DNs babies, Jen's fouroclocks and Joann's collage. Found this on a tree after the rains.

East Bridgewater, MA

Due to the humidity of Au-gust

Still waiting for the tall white marigolds I planted to bloom.....

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Lack of a lot of rain has made fungi not very abundant here, except for the dog puke one that puffs at you when you water plants.
Love the bright orange zinnia even if it is not what should have been. Do any zinnia reseed themselves?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

they are supposed to reseed... I haven't had any... but I winter sowed some and they are growing great

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Thanks, good to know.
Here are a few shots from this afternoon. All are from the blue/purple and yellow/orange garden.
