Badseed, you might not want to take any advice from me about the kids. I had a rep for being the strictest mama in the school when my own were little, and now I have the opposite rep with the grands. I've decided the house wasn't important, dinner didn't have to be at any special time, a little dirt never killed a kid, it's okay to sleep in your clothes if they're comfortable, tantrums should be handled with lots of love, boogers are cute, toys are more fun when scattered all over the house, and other assorted novel conccepts as befits a grandmother experiencing newfound patience. But when you throw that 1/2 factor in, everything changes. I do recall those difficult days, and not with any fond longings. Just send the girls to me, I'll send them back when the little one is sleeping all night. Already have the playground set up, and favorite granddarling would love the company.

Hey Aimee, It sounds like you and me would get along just fine! LOL Since my kids are close together and the oldest of four and a half girls is only eight-I have long ago given up on having a clean house, gave in to the fact that I WILL step on something that hurts at least twice a day, and well, boogers are a part of life! LMBO Now, I would love to kind of take you up on part of your offer, how about I leave the kids with daddy, and I come to Texas???? Now that sounds like fun! hee hee I'll play on your playground and in your gardens and make a mess and you can spoil ME and tell me how great I am? Can I huh, Can I huh? And if you ever make it to Ohio, I know the perfect messy house and bunch of 'angels' for you to spoil! :)
