Tagged pages no pages found!

I've clicked on several tags and it comes up 'no pages found'. Why? Do the threads no longer exist?

ok I just checked mine, and all it shows are old tagged pages. I know I have some tagged since then that are not showing up. So I tried to add a page, and it doesn't show up either.

bumping this up, still hoping someone has some advice to fix this or why it's not working.

When you click on a tag in the public list and you get a 'no pages found', most likely it's because it was set to private so the person tagged it for their own personal use.

No, this is when *I* tag a page for ME, then when I look up the pages I have tagged, it doesn't show up.

FrillyLily, are you entering any text for the tag before saving? Once you look at your tag list, it shows the list how it was originally posted, like a PlantFile tag would show the entire PF name. Hold your mouse over a link to see your tags in a window.

If I click on 'My Tools' and then scroll down the page and click on Tags, it gives me like 4 or 5 listings of things I tagged a while back.
If I try to add a new tagged page to this list, it doesn't show up.

Okay maybe I just figured out what I was doing wrong.

I clicked on a thread, then went to the upper r corner and clicked on the folder icon.
It brought up a mostly white page that had a blank entry box. I though this was optional and was just for me to type in a personal note or title the thread myself. I thought even if I left the box empty, it would still save the thread on the tagged pages as the actual title of the thread by the original poster. I guess you have to type something into this box, and cannot leave it blank. Then I cliked 'save for personal use (not for public view).


Then I went back to the list of my private tagged pages and it was on there.
Wierd. Wonder why it won't just save it automatically under its own name instead of having to label it?

Yep, that's exactly how I found out that you had to add something there too, drove me nuts until I tested it out the same way. Most of the time I just copy and paste the existing title.
Funny, everyone has different ways to do things, for me, I just click on the 'My Info' tab to get to my tags and anything else I need (or my name here next to my post) I only use 'My Tools' when I plan to edit or work within my journal (which is getting HUGE) or trade lists.

ah ha! I didn't know I could get to my tagged pages by My Info tab. LOL

Sorry I didn't see this earlier but it sounds like you worked it out - let us know if you run into any other problems with it.
