I often see the house finches taking sips from water collected on my succulents. I guess a big pond isn't good enough for them! LOL.

Oh those corellas are adorable!! I have to say I have been watching House Hunters Austrailia Week.....man it is expensive to live there! So far they have featured Melbourne (sp?) and the Great Barrier Island north of New Zealand. Very interesting tho!

The Wrens are so cute, Nan. The GBHs they're getting bold having being around people and boaters here, thus catching them being still is easy. It's the Green Herons that I have yet gotten close, they're pretty elusive.

I once again found Lord Byron (AKA Redheaded Woodpecker) on his 'castle' since I noticed the Northern Flickers around his humble abode...this past week.

If I may... I like to clarify myself. From my viewpoint; the dead tree is humble- a- place to live in. But, seeing the happy couple; their home is indeed a castle to the happy couple.

Mrs. Byron is directly below her mate. The two were happily chatting wih one another this early morning. I was delighted to have heard their familiar vocalization when I went outside this morning....so I ran back inside for the camera.

Lily, another great picture of your Blue Heron. Hope the flickers are still around close. It is only fair that the Byron family get that tree.

Nanny, your little House Wren is so sweet.

Missy, sweet bb babies.

Beahive, wonderful photo of your little hummer.

Hugger, love your little wren! Hope your turkeys survive the coyotes.

This Brewers Blackbird seem to be watching something interesting.
