Yeah, Y2K is coming haven't you heard? LOL, No Evelyn, I was just telling Sharon that they did not have an original idea there. If they think for a minute that, if all the food were gone, that it would be a well organized march to the mountains for hunting, then they were wrong.

If people are hungry, watch out. I merely said that the home invasion she spoke of was for drug money. If it were food they were after it would be a lot worse.

Believe me, I cannot foresee the future. LOL, if I could, I would be a millionaire.

JB, that sounds absolutely terrible. I am so sorry for you all. I hate humidity. I always thought Seattle was humid until I traveled to different places on the East Coast, and the South. But, we are even a lot less humid than Seattle. So, you are right, you feel the heat a lot more than we do.

I think you will like using the polymers to ship your plants. Just be sure they are hydrated first. LOL, otherwise they will suck the moisture out of the roots of the plants. Oh, how awful.

The day is moving along. I got some things done today. Inside of course.
My grandson passed his drivers test and he is so excited. I just love that kid. He sent me a TXT message with a picture of him in his car. Oh to be young again.

I know what you mean. Bob just fixed me a hamburger for lunch and it was 1:30 so kind of late and then dinner? No thanks.

Right now, I am at the library updating the laptop, as today was "chiro" day. After going there, I had lunch at the senior center near there. It was pasta, and I am full. You could not get a full meal like that for $3.00 anywhere else. I don't think I was quite that hungry.

JB ~ Yes, I understand about the hunger issue, it might be the heat. I could barely finish my lunch as the portion seemed large for me. I suppose for many, it is their main meal, but I did have breakfast before I left the house.

Jeanette ~ Y2K? Oh that was so yesterday...well, 10 years ago. No, I was referring to 2012. There have been many predictions about that from many sources, but maybe nothing at all will happen. Still, there have been many earth-shaking events recently. You are right about if people are hungry, (for food or drugs..!) Maybe I should ask Steve to train me in his arsenal of various firearms. Maybe it will annoy the neighbor next door with the noisy dogs....they have a kennel full!

Sorry, I had not heard of any "BIG" traumatic things that are suppose to be happening in 2012. Guess I have been in the sticks too long. But, even if I had I don't take those things seriously. If things happen they just do. Nothing we can do to stop them. Believe me life will go on.

I just finished making some apricot syrup. It looks so good. I used to stop at Perkins Pancake house because they had such good apricot syrup. Haven't been by there in years.

Hi Linda: we moved and will move again today to XX.
so how are we? I was wondering about you. I am doing fine we started a huge remodel. raise the floor remove the paneling clean up the sheetrock and texture that. raise the back door to match the floor. and then the outside work begins... luckily we hired that out ...sideing and windows.
not much new going on except for runing out of room and prop flats, which is easy to remidy by ordering some more. I am planning to sell my planys by the flat so I can just box up the flat and ship the plants.
I am sure you are dealing with hot hot hot like we are. pushing 100 everyday and little to no wind, so I do my activities outside in the am.
so what have you been doing????
