I'm going to be off line for awhile so I'm going to start this new thread a little early with a few pics I got at Tule Lake a couple of days ago. Starting with a Yellow-headed Blackbird

Great start Adel with so many different variety! Thank you, for the new thread.
You got some great reflections in those shots. Nice start!
Wow, adelbertcat, when you start a new thread, you don't fool around. That Yellow-headed Blackbird is cool. AND congrats on the Yellow Warbler and Spotted Sandpiper lifers.

Great start Adel! Congrats on the lifers. I would LOVE to see a yellow-headed blackbird.
Oh LL, those swallow nests are so cool! Man, can't believe how many of them there are and that they all get along so well!
Marna, these Swallows appear to be great social birds. They work, live together harmonuously. My kind of birds. lol
Wow! That is a swallow condo!! Fantastic.
Thank all. Have a good weekend. GG I'm glad you've enjoyed that scenery. Comon' down and visit sometime.
Nice start Adelbercat. Nice photos and variety. I've never seen a Yellow-head BB in the wild before. Nanny you get birds in your backyard that I have to travel to see - lucky you. Nice capture.
These few shots came from a set of photos I took back in January this year. I could not find these photos and just the other day I found these and others. When I loaded them for some odd reason I did not load them in my Photoshop library so they sat on the hard drive unseen. So after 6 months here's a few of the first set of Eagles in flight shots I got with my new lens.
Nice start to the new thread Adel! Congrats on your new bird's, I would really like to see a Yellow-headed Blackbird too.
Nice shots of your Cliff Swallow community Lily!
Nanny, nice close-ups of the Brown Thrasher!
Met, great shots of the Bald Eagle's!
Have a set of the Great Egret to share. Thanks to everyone with your camera/settings tips!
These first few are over the water then I was able to get the darker background shots.

Just awesome shots of the Bald Eagles and the Great Egret.
Adel, Great shots! Congratulations on the new birds. Thanks for starting the new thread!
Nanny, Love the Brown Thrasher!
Met, Wonderful shots of the Eagle!
Burd, Lovely Great Egret!
Wow 7 Mississippi Kites have been seen in Cape May!
Love all of these shots. Nanny, that Brown Thrasher is really cute with the toothpick legs!
Burd, you sure should be satisfied with those results--absolutely beautiful!
nanny_56 -- your Brown Thrasher shots are real good -clear, nice color.
Methodical - your last image of the Eagle, to me, is the best. Great job.
Burd_Fotos - I really like your set on the Great Egret. Let me aske, with the last two, with the fish being eaten, were you shooting in burst mode? Your pic detail a real good. Oh, yeah, you mentioned the converter, did you have it on, and if so, did you get to use auto focus?
GrannyGrunt - I like the bust of the Male House Finch. Did you crop it, or were you that close?

Adel, thank you for the new start. I love all your birds, especially that Avocet. Congratulations on the new lifers.
Lily, wonderful wp photo in the last thread. The swallow nests are really cute. Have a great vacation.
Nanny, that thrasher is just adorable.
Met, your eagle photos are gorgeous! Perfect lighting on them.
Burd, fantastic photos of your egrets! Love all the clear wing spreads.
Pelle, hope you'll make it to Cape May for photos of that kite!
GG, your finch is a really colorful guy!
I watched 4 male Brown-headed Cowbirds displaying their wings to each other, one at a time. I assume they were showing off for a female, but I sure didn't see her.
