We've got severe thunderstorms on the way, quarter inch hail and 60 mph winds possible....signing off and holding on to my umbrella!!!!!!!
Had a nice downpour here a few minutes ago. 0.34 inches. Temp dropped to 72! Rain rate was 4 inches per hour at one point.

Uh oh, hope that bad weather isn't heading here! Glad Tenn. has better weather today than we do, Sarge. It's 82, with high humidity...can't enjoy the garden till it cools off some.
I got alate start on everything I planted folks have been showing what they have been getting out of their garden for weeks now not me but at least i have good weather . and the garden is growing i finaly seen lil veggies Showing up the other day and they are starting to fill out good so I hope to pick a few beans, radishes, squash, corn, maters, even might get a few lil taters too good Lord willen that is . I hope it cools of for you folks out your way Robin and TX too it has been ruff on them folks .

I got my discharge on 6 Sept 2009 and retired 1 Jan 2010 Medical Disability under US Army Honorably Discharged 16 + years . Neck & Back Disc crushed

Sorry to hear about the injury. Have dealt with back problems for a long time so I sympathize.
I hear you on the craziness of the city. Spent my first 33 years there and don't miss the noise and hustle. Still love to visit, though. If you can't find it in NYC, you just can't find it!
Looks like you can feed yourself and then some! We have a veggie thread so please feel free to post there what you're growing. And post on any of our threads. We're a hospitable bunch!
ok i have to visit the the veggie thread some timei do a bunch of growing of diffrent things this plot is 80 X 150 LoL .... yes it is for a lil road side market and some of the Elders in our lil community that still love to garden but can not put one out they help out wiht this one when they can (but dont have too and get veggies when they come in ) most time they meet and chat about how they did it back when and put out their seed their family grew when they planted a garden . it is pretty cool .
