Nice path Victor.Nikon also has a "Panorama Maker" that came with my camera TheCoolpix

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Which Coolpix do you have, Jo?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

S210 I like it.Good enough macro and I am finding aps that solve other problems I had. Like the "Scene" setting.

Thomaston, CT

Thanks for the "support" photo, Weeze.....the town has an easement right up to mine...if they want to widen our road (which is very narrow), good-bye fence & garden. However, the town has no money to do anything right now, & that will probably continue for awhile.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

HOOOOORAY for poverty.

Thomaston, CT

Yep.

You and I chose the same ferns for hostas. My new giant hosta garden has both and you might check out Bradford Rambler a low spreading fern.I'll take pix.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Nice pics Bill. Like the different colors of foliage in all your beds.

Thomaston, CT

Very nice...your Hak grass is doing much better than mine.....mine is very wispy looking, & I lost all the variegated liriope from last year....I planted a few more....never give up!

Your lasagna bed is looking very good JoAnn. Lots of color there already. I like it.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Pat

Thomaston, CT

It's filling in! Think about any plants you want me to bring in Aug.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Wow Ge! What an amazing difference!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

looking great already JoAnn

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Jo Ann, I know you went through a bit of ell putting in the lasagna garden, but it is looking wonderful!

What happens in August??

Columbus, OH

Wha, what are red devils?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

If I hadnt been so impatient the garden would have been easier.
I had a vague memory of how to lasagna,
The part I forgot (the really important part) was to let the layers cure for a year or at least 8 months. Its a bit weedier than I like too but the plants are really looking good.
This garden method is so great for people who cany dig and turn over sod.
August is when Robindog comes to visit her niece who lives just over the hill.We usually get together for an evening .Debilu lives a mile from me so the three of us have a mini RU.
Pollyk will join us this year.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

that will be a big as kathy's ru joann:)

red devil and the red beetles that eat lilly's - confused lady

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

this one is looking up from the driveway past the speria that has started to bloom. will be nicer when the blue spruce grows up a bit and when the hydrangea is in bloom.

Thomaston, CT

Yes, the spruce will really anchor that garden....very nice color combos!

Norridgewock, ME(Zone 5a)

I love your gardens, and panorama is a great way to get a feel for them. I took a few shots today, but my gardens are young...

Nice, gneiss! Love your DG name. Are you into geology??

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Very nice, granite, I love the mixed stone pathway.

Maine, United States(Zone 5b)

Gorgeous gardens, everyone! Wow, I envy the amount of space many of you have. Mine is so limited :(

granitegneiss, I really like your planter combo in the foreground, there. Purple, pink, and orange are my favorite flower colors. I like your house, too, and how the colors look against it. Boy that's one thing I wish I could afford to fix- the exterior look of my house. Ugh.

Ok, here are a few long shots of my dinky garden from the last couple days.

I call this the left bed

The right bed long shot. There was a wild barberry tree on the top of the rock that I cut down this year and replaced with my potted Orange Dream Japanese Maple (that seems to grow like a weed). I'm so much happier with how it looks, but am not sure how long I can keep that maple in a pot.

Yeah, I know the yard is all weeds and clover.
