getting close to the end of the river
Miscellaneous Shots - Part 4
Very nice shots, Bill! Old Towns are the Best! I learned to canoe in one in Florida as a young teenager in an alligator/snake infested river near Fort Myers. At the time I didn't know there were other options! LOL Your trip looks much more serene! Cindy's got that style down in her show-off photo! Brown bottle looks pivotal.
nice shots WC & Bill.... turkeys are funny
All that adds to the feel, WC!
Nice shots, Bill. Looks like fun.
Got my cd from Disney today. These are the shots their photogs took. Not very good at all. Lots of dark shots and shadows on our faces. And about ten shots of strangers! Never again.
I had a Disney photo pass card and checked all the photos on line first to see if I wanted any. They wanted like $15 a pic....WHAT???!!! I'll pass
Great pictures WC & Bill!!
Love the catch of the day WC, going tomorrow to see if I can bring my own home. ^_^
Bill that looks like a really nice trip, how far on the river do you travel before reaching the lake?
I did not go for that. I chose the cd with all the shots for $100. I can do any printing myself. But there are not many shots I would consider printing.
Jezz a hundred bucks, on top of what they already charge -those guys are really something else...
Yes they are. Outrageous. But the kicker is that the pics were not very good.
Really enjoyed the turkey photo.
celeste not really sure how long of a trip it is as it is very snake like. we drive a mile or two to the drop off - it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to the camp grounds - have lunch and re-stock beverages move car's maybe 2 or 3 miles to the lake and done at 4:30 or so with a few stops. real slow river with lots of floating. not crazy like the Sacco River
aaaaaaawwwww so nice
Cool! I've never seen the Erie Canal! - Wider than those Florida canals cars occasionally fall in, but smaller than I expected, probably widens up somewhere up the canal...
- Nice shot of you & JoAnn too, I like Jo's t-shirt, 'euro-navy' style with a snake!
I loved her shirt...very arty just like it's owner!
This was at the butterfly festival today(hee hee yesterday) http://thewatershed.org/news-and-events/butterfly-festival
Tiger swallowtails: my favorite for over half a century!
Nice, Jen.
we ran up to lowes.... I picked up a container for our pee gee or pee wee hydrangea... it outgrew the one it's in now.. picked up the pot and saw a dead luna moth inside.... just looked at Randy and pouted
Luna moths...so lovely, saw my first one in Dennisport on Cape Cod in the 1960's, before Cape Cod became over-run by tourism.
I get luna ticks.
Victor! I raised luna moths with one of my science classes.......
Free is always good
Wonderful fireworks photos!
The last one looked like the champagne cork just blew off the bottle !!!
yes it does... very nice!!
Thank you, glad to be able to share it with you! ☺
Sounds like a fun time! We have concerts every Monday at our town park.....no fireworks, though!
