Beautiful shots duc! You can post as many as you like. Could you tell everyone what your flowers are.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Thanks Pelle, they're called Kniphofia, but also called Torch Lily or Red Hot Pokers. I have three colors of them and the hummers love them. The orioles love them after the blooms have gone to go to seed.

Beautiful thread, Duc. How I ever missed out on this threads, I'll never know. I'll camp out here awhile and take it all in. Love your Annas.

I love those yellow ones. I have a peach colored one here, I should get some more varieties.

Thanks Lily. These little guys are really a challenge to capture with the camera.

Pelle, I can save you some seeds if you like? I have the red (really a dark orange), all yellow and the yellow/orange colors.

Hi Duc, I'm out West. Southwestern region. I'm likely to see some of your beautiful hummers out here. So I stopped by the Botanical garden's bookstore and picked up a books on hummingbirds yesterday. :-)

This morning I saw a hummingbird came to nectar on my daughter's 'Birds of Paradise' blossoms, then checked out her Promagranite's blooms then went on the enjoy her honeysuckles. I didn't have a picture to share, but I hope I can brag to family that I get to see Annas hummingbirds on my trip.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Lily, if you're in the southern area of our state, you may also get to see the Costa's besides the Anna's hummers! Unfortunately, the Costa's don't come this far north. Enjoy your trip!! Hope your camera is in that hand at all times!!

Wonderful photos of the darling hummers. I don't have as many as other years, but they seem to empty with the orioles help, my three feeders every day. Cheryl and Richard were here almost three weeks. had a wonderful time. We spent one week in Joseph, OR and Bend. Joseph is in the NE corner of OR, and is world famous for their bronze sculptures. It is a very attractive small town with many raised beds along the streets with large rocks, bronzes, and flowers. We took a tour of one of the foundrys and several of the galleries.

While here at home they weeded in my garden. If I didn't have such a large garden, it would not have a weed left after all the time they spent weeding. I still have seedlings to get planted and our weather is getting hot. Was 82 degrees yesterday.
