Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

The end. ok now you should take off your woolies and put your shorts back on. A warm spring pic from today last year to take the chill off.

whew that was painful

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Sorry if that was hurtfull onewish. What can you do but laugh when this happens? We are hardy. We will survive. This is why the babies stay in the greenhouse til late May/early June and only the hardy perennials break ground. The hostas and peonys are smart plants, really smart plants cuz they aren't up yet and they would be hurt. All and all methinks we're good.

My shade garden is doing great. If you remember these are the ones I had to move last June because of the pear tree that came down.

Snow huh!

East Bridgewater, MA

Snow = gross

For those with deer problems, the blue hosta plants are least preferred by Bambi; they will eat the green ones first, then the variegated, and the blue hosta last.

That info was offered up by a long time gardener on Erica Glasener's HGTV show, "Gardener's Diary."

(HGTV has foolishly placed this great program in their vaults to languish.)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

HGTV is a ad conduit for granit tops and hardwood floors.
I have stoped watching because its too much "home" and not enough "garden"
One realestate show is just like another.
