And they laughed when I told them to carry a brellie today
2010 Garden Photos - Part 8
how about a blow torch
DN sorry to see this, hope they stay well despite the storm.
whew that was painful
Sorry if that was hurtfull onewish. What can you do but laugh when this happens? We are hardy. We will survive. This is why the babies stay in the greenhouse til late May/early June and only the hardy perennials break ground. The hostas and peonys are smart plants, really smart plants cuz they aren't up yet and they would be hurt. All and all methinks we're good.
I guess NY is not so bad!
LUV the blue hostas flowerjen. What are they?
you are a lot stronger than I am D
glad they all made it Jen!
I heart NY Victor!
Noid hosta sorry.
S'ok flowerjen. I have alot of somethingsomethings in my garden too ^_^ I just luv the blue ones so I was wondering.
Carry on d-nut & give the plants some TLC.
Snow huh!
Snow = gross
For those with deer problems, the blue hosta plants are least preferred by Bambi; they will eat the green ones first, then the variegated, and the blue hosta last.
That info was offered up by a long time gardener on Erica Glasener's HGTV show, "Gardener's Diary."
(HGTV has foolishly placed this great program in their vaults to languish.)
HGTV is a ad conduit for granit tops and hardwood floors.
I have stoped watching because its too much "home" and not enough "garden"
One realestate show is just like another.
Yep.
(Didn't mean to digress from thread, sorry.)
Nice, Jo. I think my deer are color-blind.
