Hi everybody I just heard from Laura and she's having a time getting on to DG for some reason. She said she's missing all the cabitsing with every one and hope's you'll stay and have some fun. I was worried about Laura and emailed her today...haven't heard from her though. Thanks FP, I went from a very active life, and lots of neighbors and friends, to a sedentary life here. Meeting new people all the time though...at the Dr's office, check out line, any where there is one more person standing there to talk to. LOL No, I've made a few new friends here, but being 15 miles from town and any activities does make it hard to meet new people. I enjoy your post very much. Jo

Hey Laura glad to see you made it back!!!!!!Azalea don't run away so quick, it's the heat over here in Australia, that takes us so long to answer. Either that or all the wine we've been tasting right Jo. You and sand got lots of corks left that we could fix up a hat for Azalea? Laura if we all go to Northerners at once who'll know if the bar-b's still going. I'll wait here and have another snag and dead horse ( for Azalea it's tomatoe sauce) maybe I might have a coldie. I went over to Northerners earlier, when I couldn't find you, and no one was there. If there's someone there when you go, maybe you could bring me back a scone, with devon cream and strawberry jam mmmmmmmm my mouth's watering already. Perhaps I'll pop over later if she's home. Well got to rinse out some laundry, been here so long, hope you don't mind me using your laundry Laura!!!!

Oh Flowerpot-thanks for the hat, I didn't have one, sounds like a good garden hat with corks dangling all around the brim. "Dead horse", tomato sauce - where in the world did that one come from!! Now it's morning and the scones really sound good with my coffee.

Hello Flowerpot! I'm only home when I don't have a lecture!!! Got a full afternoon ahead of me (4 hours of lectures), but I couldn't leave everybody starving. So I brought over a tray with cream tea.
I've taken on a new member of staff to look after your needs while I'm busy. Meet my butler - Jeeves!

Sheesh! What have they done to you Jeeves? What a bright shirt! I never knew you had such gorgeous legs!!! Those scones went down well. I can see I'll have to make another batch.
Well, I'm in my third week at uni. Seems to be quite a heavy workload now that we are into our full timetable just about. Once we get our assignments handed out I'll be burning the midnight oil occasionally.
I'll take Jeeves back with me today. He seems to have enjoyed himelf here, so I'll get him to look in on you from time to time. And of course he'll be around to make you welcome when I'm not in.
I think you'll have to give him some more lessons in sheep-shearing - that sheep looks suspiciously like an overgrown poodle!!!!!

yes northerener it seems jeeves does have a creative flair about him.. but the sheep shouldnt have that pom pom look about him hahahahaah

as for the sheep flowerpot.. there comes a time in every sheeps life when someone has to deal with the dags.. now aside from this being a aussie slang word for a funny person or someone thats quirky it also speaks funnily enough about the dropping that get stuck to the bottom of the afor mentioned sheep. Now especially in summer the farmers must cli[ it all off so that they dont get fly blown.. then they dip them in like a bug rinse..
this is a WONDERFUL JOB especially for someone who LOVES the great outdoors and so I thought that you....................
