Oh, well, I still have to take her the Mock Orange.
& Heaven knows what else!
:~)
Gulf Coast RU, So Much Fun!
LOL.. well I didn't get it either Ceejay... I have a few invasives but nothing like American Germander... I have dug, and dug, and dug, and dug, and did I say DUG??? And still digging
It's funny you mention the germander, Becky. I once tried to get it to grow for me, so I couild use it as an edging in place of monkey grass. Like the plumbago, I tried it in many places, but no luck.
Smockette...we can dig some madrensis in the rain this weekend!
Annette... didn't you say you have poor ol sandy soil too?? I didn't think it would be that invasive either... I got it , will be 2 years ago, and last year, I saw it twirling in the ground... I thought how cool.... THEN...LOL... it went berserk. The Germander I'm talking about grows about 2 feet... you want me to pot it up for you?? I sure can get you a lot..LOL
Why not! I can put it near the copper canyon daisy, and watch them battle it out! Lol!
LOL.. Annette... I'll get you started tomorrow!! I planted it in the fall.. soooooo that would be a good time to get it in the ground...
Right Ceejay??? About getting it in the the FALL??? Are you reading between my lines??...LOL
Fall is a wonderful time! hehehehe
hehehe.. I think so too!!!! And i think I'd like to bring them to the Woodlands.. what you think???..LOL
btw.. I never answered about the sweet young couple that came and brought lots of books and I remember some huge azaleas and other plants. I think her name was Lily??
The Woodlands is O.K. with me!
That couple is identified in the round up pictures. They had a lot of water gardening books. Too much work for me. A water feature, maybe, but not a pond to wade in.
Oh, Bubbles, that sounds great!!!
You would be surprised what I travel with on a regular basis. I have for yrs, said, 'Have clippers, will travel!!!!' But now, I have a regular little crate (purple & lime) that has sortta kinda, some of almost everything to get plants ready for travel with me!!! lol
:~)
The sweet couple with the books were Thuy and Ahn. I told them we want to see photos of their Japanese garden.
Smockette...now you have me scared! I need to go out in the rain this morning and alert my plants. 'Let them know you're coming... and that you may be ripping their limbs off, or taking away their off spring. Owwwwwww....
See you soon!
I promise to handle them with kid gloves! lol
You can tell them, they will be going to a bigger place where they will be having all the room they need to grow up big & strong!
Still raining in SA. Headed back to Austin this evening.
:~)
No rain...yet...but coming. Can't see my car, roof, or driveway because of all the oak tassels....yuk! Too wet to blow them off! Call when you get to town and I'll give you directions to mi casa.
