Has anyone thought...

Has anyone thought that all the mud-slinging, back stabbing and rudeness that has been happening here lately, may, one day, be enough for Dave to say thats it and yank the whole website??
We seem to be taking this site for granted.
Just my opinion, on a very bad day : (

I have seen a few misunderstandings but overall the folks here are fine! Chin up (or in my case multiple chins) and hang in there! :}

My sister told me once "Chin up, Jo"...and I asked "which one". but I'm holding ALL of them up! Thanks to nice people like coco and all the rest of my new friends here in Dave's Lovely Garden! JO

I think all the mud westling is dying down- as is should be- and it's nice to see that friends can still be friends through it all- thanks DAVE and TRISH for your patience through all of it!!!
i think that the past two weeks have been tough on everyone and it comes out somehow...when you're least expecting it!! LOL!
Dave's Garden is a great place and will always be a great place as long as the great people stay in touch!

DG is a gift, like true friends are gifts; neither of them should be abused or taken for granted, because they're precious.

GW your so right DG is a gift!I agree also we take this site for granted.( dang it can I just say ditto to GW's post)lol I sure hope Dave dosen't give up on us. Heck we are just like children in a big family we have our fusses and move on hopefully that will happen soon.I wouldn't trade all the friends I have made here for anything. This is my home and I love it and I plan to stay.

Losing DG would be like losing an arm or a leg. It's too much a part of me. I would be so sad. vic

I love DG's like everyone else does. Things are returning somewhat to normal and let's all keep that going! I do have a smaller site I visit when I look and see all the fervor, but Dave's is and will always be my favorite.

Later today or early tomorrow I will be making the most dramatic change to DG since it's inception. The announcement of the change will either kill DG completely, or it will launch this site into a Golden Age.

We'll probably know which way it's going to go by this time tomorrow. I hope and pray that we're doing the right thing.

Well, I've been a member of Dave's Garden since the end of January. In the ensuing nine months, I have yet to see Dave make a decision that wasn't in the best interest of the members here. I don't expect this decision to be any different.

In response to MSJen's question that started this thread, I can only imagine the tremendous self-control Dave and Trish have exerted, since they haven't thrown in the towel. I think they have weathered the storms because they know that the vast majority of DG members support them and love the site.

I agree vols...they must have a huge stash of Prozac or something...I don't know how they put up with us! LOL

Should we ask to see if Dave or Trish want to trade their 'huge stash of Prozac or something'? We all could use a bit of it! LOL

If we are making changes, can I have my own special link for the chat room. The other one doesn't like me! LOL Give me my own channel something.. Please? :) And let's find the 'foreign host' and tweak his channel a few times! Just kidding. Am curious why I can't stay for long though?

Gee, the antipation is killing me!!! We all trust you Dave!!! I'm sure you won;t let us down!!! Vic, Mystic and all, this is a great "home" and I don;t know what I would do without it either!!! It's such a joy to log on and check and see how everyone is doing, to look at the photos and laugh or smile, to see if there are any cares or concerns that need some prayer, to see the hard work of so many people- Dave,Trish, Go_Vols, and many more on making the plant forum better and now the new trader thing, wow..... what a great group of people WE are!! And mystic is right- okay, so there's a fuss or two.... we all get over it..... and Dave has sucj great patience with us!!!!

oh, me too!!!! wonder,wonder,wonder?? oh, i'll bet it will be something GREAT!! every time i get a chance to click on daves garden i find wonderful information, wonderful stories, sad and happy times, and most of all wonderful hosts and friends :) oh, and all we need to pass around is a pail full of jelly beans :) i love the orange ones!! here's the pail, dig in :) patricia

Guess i should have better manners and pass some of this cheesecake around while we're waiting. Ok, we now have jelly beans and cheesecake....bring on the food while we wait folks.Coffee is made to go with the cheesecake.

This is just pure speculation...but maybe the general discussion forum will be going bye bye?...for various reasons...I could see that happening. Just speculation though. I guess we'll find out in a few hours.

Dave,surely won't get rid of the General Discussion Forum.......nah,he has something else in mind,I believe.

Maybe he's going to put numbers at the bottum of each forum,intead of it saying 'next' and 'previous'.
With Dave, who knows what surprise he's coming up with. What ever it is, it can't be all bad, as his site has been all good so far and very pleased on this end with the job that he has been doing.
Won't be long now..got to get another cup of coffee and wait and see what's coming up.....15 minutes left.
