Charlie, that's fantastic news. My God, when I think that only a few months ago I was sitting here thinking I was watching this magnificent old girl take her last breaths and here she is, back from yet another migration. This has made my day. Thanks.
Scottish Osprey Nest
OMG!!! I can't believe she is back. I was so sure that last was most likely her last. This is great news!
That's a tough old girl! Looks like she's got competition… rut roh.
I've been checking everyday lately. So glad she is still alive, but not sure if I want her to try for any more babies. Too bad she can't just "retire" and relax a bit.
wouldn't that be nice!
Just reading that staff and volunteers have initiated a 24-hour protection watch on Lady to protect her against wildlife crime.
I can't get the camera to load on Firefox...am going to try it on IE.....
Well...I can't get it to work....hmmmm
If you go to the top of the page on the site and click on home, you can see the Osprey blog also. The camera was just working when I checked, but it is dark there now.
Tried several times today...oh well.
I use Firefox and I get through to Webcam #1. I've tried unsuccessfully several times to get thru to Webcam #2.
What kind of wildlife crime are they expecting, margaret?
Egg thieves. Also fishermen (particularly water bailiffs on game fishing estates) who don't like any bird that takes fish.

People? Or other wildlife?
People. There are mo-rons out there, Marna.
Well, how can they get up to the trees. dang Maroon Mo-Rons! *shakes head*
ain't that just sick....
Thanks Linth...I will try again. I just added Firefox and wonder if I need to add something for it to play.
Right this minute I got on Webcam #2 but couldn't get on Webcam #1. There is an Osprey on the nest, eating a fish.
still no luck here...oh well.
Camera #1 is operational between 9am and 5pm (local time). After that, view on camera #2.
I can't get either one to load, the thing just keeps spinning around...
Same with me this morning. I usually have no problem.
Cam 2 is working right now. The Lady is alert and on her nest.
She looks great. What an amazing bird and story.
The male from last year has returned and mating has been taking place. Looks' like more babies will be on the way.

I saw that. Isn't that just amazing.
Truly is an unbelievable story. Hope things go better this year.
Well, she just laid her 59th egg!
Wow!
OUCH! lol
She now has her 60th egg.
She is now sitting on the 61st egg in her remarkable lifetime.
That is sooo unreal!
If these eggs are viable, the first should hatch around May 20th.
sure wish I could get this one to work for me!
Yes, it's been very hit and miss with me. I succeed in opening the video about one time in ten.
Not having any luck with the cam the last two days. Now it seems to be working OK.

She has been listening to her eggs, so time is near for hatching.
