Wonderful shots Duc! Love the Towhee bathing and Maggie!
Sweet shot nanny!
DAILY PICS - Vol. 294
Duc...beautilful eagle shots.
Nanny.....great shot of the chickadee. They are so hard to photograph! My puppy chases the mourning doves. I have been unsuccessful at teaching her that squirrels are a "GO" and doves are not!
Ha. Maggie is so funny.
Nice one GP!
Nice shots everyone!!
Nothing but Hawks to report from here...Elvis is still around though.
Couple pictures of an immature Cooper's Hawk...I didn't think these shots turned out as I was hand holding the camera. And to not scare the Hawk away, I had to shoot through a window that was dirty (in my book) but gave me more confidence for hand held shots as I,m normally dedicated to a tripod.
Very nice ones Burd!
Wonderful shot Dirt!
Neat sight nanny!
Nanny, congrats on the great photo of the chickadee.
GP, nice one of the mocker too.
Brud, fantastic photos of the hawk. Doesn't look like the window was any problem to me. Nice lark and crow shots.
Dirt, nice to see you here. Great shot of the hawk! Love the skinny legs of the sharpies.
Great job Nanny. That many cranes must have be heard from a long way off. What a wonderful sight to see. We're enjoying the formations of our many gulls at this time of year and I love hearing them.
The Bald Eagles were sure being hassled by the crows yesterday. It's amazing to see the crows just dive at the eagle.
Nice shots duc! It is amazing to watch smaller birds diving at the big raptors. Beautiful shot of the Tree Swallows!
Beautiful duc!
Hey Nanny, that's awesome. I've yet to see them flying over here. I don't think we're on a path. They've been reported in the Chicago suburbs though.
Speaking of horned larks, When I was out the other day, a bird flew across the road. So I shut down the truck and listened. Sure enough, Horned Lark. But when I looked I couldn't see them. Darned camo-fla-geee birds.
Burd... nice Cooper's Hawk.
Dirt... amazing shot of the Sharpie!
Nanny... great capture of the sandhill cranes. Right place at right time!
Duc... nice eagle and as always, tree swallow.
Burd & Dirt....wonderful hawk shots.
Duc....LOVE the tree swallows! Mine won't be back for another few weeks....so I can enjoy yours until then. Thanks!
Wow...beautiful shots on this thread. Nanny...great shots of the Cranes, I would love to see something like that! Love all the Hawk shots on this thread also. Duc...you sure do a great job on getting more than one bird in focus...love those Swallows!
Sunny and warm today...a good day for being outdoors, finally!
Congratulations Elphaba!! You live around such great birding areas.
WOW Elphaba, congrats on getting this fantastic shot!! How exciting to see them in real life!!
Hey...Congrats Elphaba!!! NIce pic too!
Duc....those Tree Swallows are pretty.
You do hear the Cranes way before you see them. Totally awsome to see these huge groups go over! I was putting more mulch down today when more went over the house so ran in and grabbed the camera!

I would love to see (and hear) the Cranes migrating!
Wonderful portrait of the Dove VA!
ducbucln - Of all your wonderful pics, I think I enjoyed seeing Maggie the most. And that pic of the crow harassing the eagle was super.
nanny_56 - nice pic of a Carolina Chickadee! And I liked the threesome of the Starling, Grackle and Red-winged Blackbird.
gardenpom - sweet snap of the Mockingbird in the evening glow.
Burd_Fotos - great pix, but I really liked the second two of the Immature Cooper.
dirt_in_ozone7b - great capture of the immature Sharp-shin.
Elphaba - Fantastic. Congrats on the your first owl photo. A great shot, too.
VA_Wild_Rose - Nice head shot of the mourning dove at your feeder.
