Got this is an email today thought it was cute.....something my Dad would of said!

God's Problem Now.

His wife's graveside service was just barely finished, when there was
a massive clap of thunder, followed by a tremendous
bolt of lightning, accompanied by even more thunder
rumbling in the distance. The little, old man
looked at the pastor and calmly said,
'Well, she's there.

Got this one in the same email...thought it was cute too......

Paul Newman founded the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for
children stricken with cancer, AIDS, and blood
diseases. One afternoon, he and is wife,
Joanne Woodward, stopped by to have lunch with
the kids.
A counselor at a nearby table,
suspecting the young patients
wouldn't know Newman was a famous movie star,
explained, 'That's the man who made this camp
possible. Maybe you've seen his picture on
his salad dressing bottle?' Blank
stares.
'Well, you've probably seen his face on
his lemonade carton.'
An eight-year-old girl perked up.
'How long was he missing?'

After all the hyperventilating and wasted money on the 'flu pandemic':

It's probably out there, just not getting diagnosed. Due to the economy, which leaves many, including myself, w/o health insurance, people are not going to the doctor when ill. Also, it could be it is not getting diagnosed--I just hAD a patient return from the ER with a diagnosis of Urinary Tract Infection--she had no symptoms of UTI, and they did not even obtain a urine sample from her! Also, for the first time in my memory, employers told their employees to stay home if they had flu symptoms, preventing a widespread epidemic.

No health ins. here either and I am like that. Do go if I dont have too. The eye I had no choice as it was going to blow outta my head.

Now if anyone can remember last year I yanked on a hose and could not pick up a gallon of milk for a long time. About a month ago I was sleeping with my arm over my head. I moved my arm down and it made a cracking noise. Here I am again cant pick up a freaking gallon of milk.

I swear I have bad luck.

When I sneeze my back hurts for a month. I am lucky enough to have good insurance which means I submit to one treatment or test after another. I had two flu shots, am in a flu study, and two days after the second shot (swine) I got the flu on Christmas Eve. Doc wanted to see me in a week-------decided I had pneumonia. More X-Rays, then an ultrasound, then a CT scan, decided I had gall stones. Gall bladder out second of Feb. Now have back pain again and pain in left butt. I'm afraid too call him because I don't know what he is going to dream up next. I think it's over seventyism.----------------Weedy

That's terrible! What a miserable way to spend Christmas and after. Get well soon, Weedy!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Julie Andrews Turns 70 , this is brilliant!

To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at
Manhattann bsp;'s Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP.
One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favourite Things' from the legendary
movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used:
> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >

(Sing It!) - If you sing it, its especially hysterical!!!

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favourite things.
Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favourite things.
When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favourite things...

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,
When we remember our favourite thin gs.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.
> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >>>
(Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd
that lasted over four minutes and repeated encores. Please
share Ms. Andrews' clever wit and humour with others who
would appreciate it

Calif. couple who removed lawn plead not guilty
From Associated Press
March 02, 2010 9:43 PM EST
ORANGE, Calif. (AP) — A California man who tried to save water and money by removing his front lawn is being taken to court. Quan Ha pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to a misdemeanor count for violating Orange city code. He faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Ha and his wife replaced their grass with wood chips in 2008. They said they'd just had a baby and began to think about her future.

At a time when Southern California cities fine people for overwatering thirsty lawns, the Has say they've saved hundreds of thousands of gallons of water and slashes their bill.

The city cited them for violating a law requiring live landscaping to cover 40 percent of the yard.

The couple planted drought-tolerant plants last year. The city says it isn't enough.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Typical.

Then if they put the lawn back they would get throwed in jail for a burnt up lawn..............
