Bloom of the Day Feature Doesn't Appear When I Refresh?!

I have the Bloom of the Day feature set to be on the top of the main page, refreshed (reload) to see the next new picture and it doesn't appear!!!

What happened?!

The bloom of the day stays all day. The one that changes is the Fun Random Plant.

I wasn't referring to the Fun Random Plant picture.

The Bloom of the Day feature photo disappeared tonight after I refreshed (reloaded) the main page to see the next one for tomorrow.

Seems to have disappeared from my home page too.

I used the 'contact us' link to ask about it tonight. Still waiting for answer

I hope you didn't wait up all night! (by midnight I turn into a pumpkin ;o)

Do you see the box for the photo, but just no image? (I'm seeing the box and the image on my homepage - I just checked before I started typing a response.)

If you don't see the box, you should try adjusting your custom view:

1) Go to "My Info"

2) Select "Manage your preferences"

3) Select "Customize Homepage" - caution, this page is going to look a little intimidating if you've never seen it before. But once your eyes settle on the pattern, you'll see how it works

Basically you have two columns - the left column is wide, the right column is narrow. Everything on your home page is in either the left or right column, and is then ordered 1 (top), 2, 3, 4, etc., down to whatever appears last on your page.

4) Look for "Bloom of the Day"

5) Click on the pulldown list next to "Bloom of the Day" and choose where you want it to appear (Mine is in the right-hand column, between the history and the voting booth ;o)

While you're in here, it's a good time to see what is "disabled" (so it isn't appearing on your home page - you may want to add some things); you may also want to disable/remove some things that you don't need or want to see.

6) Be sure to click "Update these modules" before you leave the page.

Once you've made the changes, go to your Home tab and see if it looks the way you want it to.

If that doesn't solve your problem, please let us know.

Mine's back this morning--must have been a temporary bug. I haven't changed anything on my home page settings--it's always been set to show up at the top of the second column--last night it disappeared, and this morning it's back again without me doing anything.

Mine's back today also! Yay!

I didn't see the box, as well as, the image. Nothing at all in the space that was suppose to be the Bloom of the Day.

My bad, I was moving things around & forgot to replace that date, doing stuff too late at night makes my eyes blurry and I just missed it! Good thing I checked in here late last night and saw that it was missing, yikes!!

See, my bad again above, messed up the HTML code too! So that's how you make a blank post! Sheesh, 0 for 2 today.

Whew, thank you Janet for giving me that permission, I just have to work on keeping it in that occasional status!
